Let’s Cook & Redeem Kitchen Appliances with MAGGI® GONG XI RIA

January 10, 2017 by StrawberrY Gal

Chinese New Year (CNY) is about reuniting with family and friends, enjoying good food, getting blessed by lion dances, celebrating traditions and creating new memories. To celebrate the spirit of CNY, MAGGI® launched a Gong Xi Ria campaign where shoppers can redeem essential kitchen appliances just by collecting points with every MAGGI® product purchased.

Encouraging consumers to cook for their families during this festive season, MAGGI®’s Gong Xi Ria Jom Masak dan Tebus (Let’s Cook and Redeem) campaign enables shoppers to purchase MAGGI® products, collect points and redeem household appliances like electric kettle, rice cookers and kitchen blenders.

From 1st December 2016 to 28th of February 2017 all consumers need to do is pick up MAGGI® products, cook delicious home-cooked meals for their families, fill in the redemption form, send it to MAGGI® and visit any Senheng® Electrics outlet nationwide to redeem their appliances. Cooking for their family this Chinese New Year is now even more rewarding as they get to score new appliances to kick-start their new year, apart from putting joy in their family and friends’ faces through scrumptious dishes.

Preparing festive dishes during Chinese New Year is an important tradition but can be challenging for many cooks. Having to tailor dishes to meet the different discerning taste preferences at home is not always an easy task. This festive season, MAGGI® can be your ally in preparing these home cooked festive dishes. MAGGI® has created an assortment of Chinese New Year recipes inspired by the year of the Fire Rooster. These recipes are full of delicious flavours and aroma from fresh ingredients that promise to ‘wow’ family and friends during reunion dinners and festive get-togethers.

The Fire Rooster inspired recipes is made effortlessly delicious with the MAGGI® culinary range such as the MAGGI® Oyster Sauce, MAGGI® CukupRasa™, MAGGI® Tomato Ketchup and MAGGI® Chilli Sauce – Thai. These products help cooks enhance the flavours of the dishes, making them even more delectable while enjoyed with friends and family. Complete recipes can be accessed on MAGGI®’s official website, www.maggi.com.my.

Commenting on the festive campaign, Nestlé Malaysia’s Business Executive Officer, Foods Division, Rosalyn Simba said, “The Lunar New Year is all about family ties and we believe one of the best ways to keep your family members happy is by cooking their favourite homemade dishes which brings fond memories of family gatherings. Nothing beats the warm taste and aroma homemade dishes provide. It will even be better if family members cook together to strengthen the spirit of reunion and togetherness. We are glad to have an opportunity to help bring families together through food, especially during festive seasons. Our MAGGI® Gong Xi Ria Let’s Cook and Redeem campaign is also our way of appreciating and rewarding our loyal customers”.

Ushering in the New Year whilst spreading prosperity and longevity, MAGGI® will be staging traditional ‘lion dance’ performances with ‘lion dance’ troops performing at more than 300 outlets across Malaysia. These lion dances will be held at key retail outlets where shoppers can have a chance to be blessed by the lions and to take photos with them as well as enjoy cooking demonstrations to learn about new CNY recipes. Consumers can stay tuned to MAGGI®’s Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/MaggiMalaysia/, to find out the dates and times at which they can catch the ‘lion dance’ performances.

Family time during this Lunar New year can truly be enjoyed with MAGGI® as your cooking ally while redeeming great rewards and ultimately winning the hearts of your loved ones. MAGGI® welcomes this Chinese New Year with togetherness and prosperity hand-in-hand; spreading the spirit of the Festive Season with Lion Dance performances and delicious recipes.
