‘TIS SEASON FESTIVE SPREAD

Explore enchanting gastronomical journey this Christmas at Melting Pot Café and Xroads Xpress. Rejoice this festive season with exquisite cuisine during high-tea, dinner and supper on the eve and on Christmas day.

Appetising Nibbles. Turkey, Lamb Crown, Puds & Everything Nice… (December 5 – 25, 2016)
Grab some lovely roast turkey or lamb crown for a perfect family dinner this Christmas. Browse through our Christmas goodies list and take your pick. Starting December 5 till 25, Xroads Xpress will be selling must-have puds, mince pies, fruit cakes and lots more of festive delights.

Gingerbread house, Christmas pudding, mince pie, stollen, log cakes, praline in various packaging are some of the Yuletide sweets available. Taste the best traditional cookies like cinnamon star cookies and almond gingerbread cookies. Goodies are tagged between RM8.00 nett – RM180.00 nett per item. Available from 11.00 am – 6.00 pm daily.

Christmas Eve & Christmas Day Buffet Dinner (December 24 & 25)
Titillate your tastebuds with roast specials, created by Chef Azlan Juri and the culinary team. There are seven type of roast specials – roasted turkey with chestnut bread stuffing, salmon baked in puff pastry, slow-roasted beef prime ribs, duck rolled with liver terrine, slow-roasted steamship beef with smokey barbecue sauce and  stewed baked whole lamb marinated with spices yogurt and stuffed briyani rice. Diners can look forward to Melting Pot signature items like the a la minute BBQ grill, steamed black mussel and sashimi amongst others. Check out the lavish spread from cold sections right up to the dessert buffet.  One will be spoilt for choice!

Complete this tantalising buffet spread with delectable festive desserts like New York cheese cake, Christmas fruit cake, red velvet, assorted candies, carrot cake, chocolate pudding and assorted flavours of ice-cream. Buffet Dinner (6.30 pm – 10.00 pm) is at RM138.00 nett per person. Enjoy classic Christmas carols while dining. Music continues with live entertainment by Bergema 5 strollers.

Christmas Buffet Supper (December 24)
Gather around with friends for some superb Christmas Eve Supper at RM100.00 nett per person. Have a bowl of hot-piping teochew porridge with condiments, char kway teow with picked chilli, tosai masala, mee goreng mamak, cucur udang, roti bakar kahwin and nasi lemak bungkus are amongst others served. Those with sweeth tooth may sample pengat durian with white bread, assorted fruits on skewer served with yogurt and chocolate fountain plus a glass of bubbly teh tarik. Do not miss Melting Pot’s Christmas buffet supper (11.00 pm – 3.00 am).

Christmas Buffet High-tea Special (December 25)
Another Christmas attraction will be the Melting Pot’s high-tea special (12.30 pm – 4.00 pm) where more delightful food spread awaits. Your meal includes all of your traditional favourites and a selection of delectable Christmas sweets. High-tea Special is at RM100.00 nett per person.

Let’s Do Some Carolling & Meet Santa (December 22 – 25)
Familiar tunes like “I saw mommy kissing santa claus”, “we wish you a merry Christmas”, “let it snow”, “silent night” given a bit of twist by our Concorde Carollers. Snap a memorable Christmas moment with Santa Claus against the beautiful backdrop.
Showtime : 8.15 pm – 8.45 pm (December 22 – 24) and
      1.00 pm – 1.30 pm (December 25 – during high-tea)
