Incomparable Festive Feasts at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong

December 7, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

Known for offering guests legendary dining experiences, Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong will set to satisfy the most discerning bon vivants with a handpicked selection of epicurean fare, tantalizing cocktails, and the finest wines this festive season.

A range of tempting menus will be prepared by the hotel’s award-winning culinary teams at any of the three Michelin-starred restaurants: Pierre which serves unforgettable dishes created by legendary chef Pierre Gagnaire; Mandarin Grill + Bar, offering an exciting interpretation of grill specialities with a modern twist; and Man Wah, often regarded as Hong Kong’s most beautiful dining space serving outstanding local festive menus. For sophisticated dining experiences and to enjoy festive menus for eight to 14 guests, the Private Dining Rooms in each of the three restaurants and The Krug Room are the perfect choices.

For a taste of traditional English fare, The Chinnery will offer a selection of festive specials, along with its signature dishes on the à la carte menu. For groups wishing to celebrate together, Café Causette and Clipper Lounge, will thoughtfully prepare seasonal menus and traditional favourites. The hotel’s elegant Connaught Room will be transformed into a holiday wonderland offering lavish international buffet with entertainment including an appearance from Santa Claus, balloon twisting, and a clown magic show. To complete the experience, Captain’s Bar will delight guests with a live band performance while M bar is the perfect place to enjoy the city’s fireworks on New Year’s Eve.

Bringing Festive Feasts to our Guests

For those wishing to dine at home, the hotel’s culinary team will lovingly prepare festive meals individually handmade over nearly 48 hours. Choices contain a medium or large roasted turkey, servings of stuffing, cranberry sauce, giblet gravy, and all the trimmings. If honey glazed ham is preferred, this option will also be available, complemented with sweet potato mash and Madeira sauce. Turkey and ham orders are for delivery only and need to be placed by 18 December 2016.
