Tony Roma’s World’s First Lamb Ribs-Eating Contest in Search of Champions!

October 4, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

Meat-crazy fanatics now have a reason to rejoice. They could possibly become champions of Tony Roma’s highly anticipated annual ribs-eating competition. For the first time ever, Tony Roma’s, famous for its lip-smacking succulent signature beef ribs and steak, is having its first lamb ribs-eating contest instead of the usual beef ribs that they have been doing annually.

Participants across the country will compete for the ultimate meat-lovers’ prize – FREE Meals at Tony Roma’s for an entire year!

From 12th September to 31st October 2016, every purchase of Tony Roma’s Ribs Entrée at any of the ten Tony Roma’s outlets in the Peninsular Malaysia qualifies for an entry. Customers will then be able to register themselves for this exciting rib-eating showdown where only one will be victorious.

Ten male customers and ten female customers will be picked in a draw at the end of the contest period to participate in the grand finals of the contest. The grand finals are scheduled to be held at Mahkota Parade, Melaka on 12th November 2016, at IOI City Mall, Putrajaya on 13th November 2016 and at KOMTAR JBCC, Johor on 19th November 2016 respectively.

George Ang, CEO of Grand Companions Sdn Bhd, the primary franchise holder of Tony Roma’s Malaysia said, “We always love to engage with our customers in a fun and memorable way while satiating their meat cravings. This event is not only an incentive for our customers to keep on dining with Tony Roma’s but also a show of thanks for their continuous support and kind patronage towards us for the past decade in Malaysia,”

“This is the fourth time the Ribs-Eating contest is organized for our loyal customers who keep coming back for our delicious menu of signature ribs, world-famous onion loaf and other flame-grilled entrées. In the last Ribs-Eating contest held last year, a 12 year old girl defeated the adults. She is not a big sized girl, just a regular girl-next door. So I believe size does not matter at all. Anybody can be Tony Roma’s Ribs-Eating champion for 2016.” George Ang continues.
