Three on Canton at Gateway Hotel Presents Oyster Temptations Dinner Buffet

September 1, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

From 1 September to 31 October 2016, stylish Three on Canton presents an Oyster Temptations dinner buffet to pamper the palate during prime oyster season. A lavish selection of freshly shucked oysters from 5 countries around the world, plus an array of delicious oyster dishes from East to West will be served to guests during the daily dinner buffet.
Each night, three kinds of jet-fresh oysters will be presented (on rotation basis) at the seafood counter from Australia, France, Ireland, the USA and North Africa. Classic garnishes including fresh lemon and cocktail sauce are available to accompany the fresh oysters.
The oyster feast continues with a selection of mouthwatering appetisers, such as Orange oyster, Oyster shooter with tomato lime juice, Oyster roll with Vietnamese sauce and Oyster mushroom puff. Highly recommended is the Orange oyster, featuring a sweet dressing of orange liqueur with spices, cinnamon and basil perfectly accentuating the creaminess of the oyster.
Cooked oyster creations include classic Oyster rockefeller, Oyster mornay and Oyster kilpatrick, all served on glistening shells. Other savouries include Oyster rockefeller pizza, Oyster and corn casserole, Sear-fried baked oyster with crabmeat and breadcrumbs, and Sear-fried fish fillet with oyster saffron sauce. A series of delicious Chinese style oyster dishes, such as Braised oyster and seaweed with dried scallops, Oyster omelette, Golden-fried oyster and Stir-fried minced oyster with celery, will also be specially prepared by the Chinese culinary team.
In addition to the Oyster Temptations highlights, Three on Canton’s regular buffet favourites such as chilled lobster and seafood, Japanese sashimi, ‘live cooking’ noodles, authentic Indian curries, regional Chinese dishes, plus exquisite desserts and creamy Mövenpick ice-cream are also available.
