Fratello Italiano Ristorante @ Nexus Bangsar South: Unique Italian Fare

A hidden jewel in Nexus Bangsar South, and a place to visit for delicious Italian is all here. Located on the first floor of Nexus Bangsar, one can easily spot the restaurant as it is just by the escalator.  With the name Fratello Italiano Ristorante; you are assured to get the taste of Italian here.

 

Zuppa Di Pesce (RM 22)

Enjoy a bowl of hot pipping creamy soup, with the broth of Prawns, mussel, scallop and crabmeat in spicy tomato essence. The soup comes simply flavourful and ingridients are fresh. Each mouthful is deliciously good and delicious. Love how the soup is cooked.

 
Trio Bruschetta / Bruschetta Three Ways (RM 19.00)

While waiting for your mains, grab some lights bites to enjoy. The trio Bruschetta comes with 3 choices in one plate where you can have the Sauteed Mushroom, Classic Tomato and Boursin Cheese. Each are carefully picked and selected by the chef to make a good combination. The sautéed mushroom are well cooked with the garlic thyme, and olive oil. Cooked till perfection and topped on the toasted bread.

The Boursin Cheese comes with the cheese spread, chili flakes and honey as well as the rocket leaf all over on top of the crispy toasted bread. Nicely done and awesomely good taste in it. And there is also the classic tomato, basil, onion, and olive mix on toasted bread.

Don’t miss the variety of pasta from their pasta selection. Having a wide selection pasta which is made from fresh ingredients and in house, you are assured of getting a premium and yet unique pasta. The pasta are simply colourful and attractive too.

 

Fratello Fettuccine Aglio Olio (RM 35.00)

Enjoy the lovely pasta where it completes with 3 colors variety which made from scratch.  The pasta is then cooked with the olive oil, garlic and herbs with mixed seafood with it. The pasta is perfectly done with the al-dente texture, and every mouthful is packed with the complete flavours in it.

Fettuccine or Capelli Nero Con Gamberi (RM38.00)

For those who want to have a twist of the meal, try their homemade Squid Ink Fettuccine or Capelli ( Angel Hair Pasta )  with fresh prawns served Aglio Olio style.

 
 
 Stracci Funghi Alfredo(RM 28.00)

For those who are looking for some creamy delights, Stracci Fungi Alfredo is indeed something worth to try for. They comes with the cut herb pasta that completes with the cream sauce and fresh mushroom.

 

Cannelloni con Ripieno ( RM 28.00 )

Enjoy the large handmade tube pasta and this unique pasta is being stuffed with chicken and spinach. It is served with the with the creamy creamy tomato sauce, cheese and oven   baked. And if you are looking for vegetarian style, they do have this option available.

 

Tortellini Burro Bianco (RM 36.00) 

Aside from that, they have the homemade pasta with the chicken and mushroom a stuffed in it/ It s being served together with the creamy garlic sauce or Pesto cream mint sauce with touch of sundried tomato.

 
Pizza Famiglia (RM 59.00)

Love some pizza? They have good choices of pizza where the thin crust pizza comes with the tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, turkey ham, roast capsicum, mushrooms topped with egg and rocket leaf. Available in 16 inches size.

 

Tiramisu (RM 20.00)

Ends your meal of course with some tiramisu. The homemade Classic dessert of espresso soaked lady fingers between layers of cream. Don’t worry, there is no alcohol in it.
