MACAO’S SPECIAL OFFERS KICKS OFF NATIONWIDE

Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) launched a series of out-of-home campaign, travel fairs and road shows nationwide to promote the major events happening in Macao between September and December 2016. The events are the 28th Macao International Fireworks Display Contest, Suncity Group 63rd Macau Grand Prix, Macao Galaxy Entertainment International Marathon, Parade through Macao, Latin City, and Macao Light Festival.

This campaign will see the Destination Macao’s promotion happening at MITM Travel Fair from 5th to 7th August at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre, MATTA Fair KL from 2nd to 4th September at Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), MATTA Fair Penang from 23rd to 25th September at Straits Quay Convention Centre and Macao Mega Sale & Experience Macao road show from 21st to 25th September at Highstreet of 1 Utama Shopping Mall. Attractive Macao packages will be available from participating travel agents, Airlink Travel & Tour, ABC Holidays, Eden Tours & Travel, Prestige Vacation,Pearl Holidays, and Roystar Travel & Tour in Kuala Lumpur, and with Golden First Travel & Tours and Forever Travel & Tours in Penang.

Beside these fairs, MGTO will also be participating at the Taste MIGF 2016, between 23rd and 25th September at Berjaya Times Square, to showcase the Macanese cuisines and exclusive Wine & Dine Macao packages.

MGTO also became the first Tourism Office to wrap 10 double-decker buses in Kuala Lumpur. The buses sporting the colourful ‘Destination Macao’ design can be spotted in major city roads for 30 days in August. To further engage with the public, there is a contest called ‘Snap Me Win Trip to Macao’, where by city dwellers just need to snap a photo of the Macao Double-Deck and post it on the Macao Tourism Malaysia Facebook page with a 50-word caption. Winning captions will stand a
chance to win a 3D2N trip to Macao or other consolation prizes.
