LOST WORLD OF TAMBUN CELEBRATES THE COLOURS OF MALAYSIA

August 24, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka! Lost World Of Tambun commemorates Malaysia’s 59th birthday with a ‘Warna-Warni Merdeka’ celebration. Wave the ‘Jalur Gemilang’ with pride and enjoy fun-filled activities perfect for the entire family.

From the 27th of August to the 31st of August 2016, except on the 30th of August, partake in a host of patriotic and colourful activities ranging from traditional Malaysian board games, Face and Batik painting, to puzzles.

Enjoy 10% discounts on entrance passes purchased online and receive a FREE Photobook voucher worth RM 79.

Recall priceless childhood memories by playing traditional Malaysian games such as Congkak, Batu Seremban, Baling Tin, and Lompat Galah. Explore Malaysia’s creative heritage and learn how to create your own Batik masterpiece at the Batik Painting activity.

Time to put your knowledge on Malaysia’s flag to test! Guess how many red and white stripes are on our flag and win a prize.

Groove to the marching band at the ‘Military Rhythms’ show, followed by an enthralling 15-minute display of beauty of traditional costumes and dance – ‘Warna-Warni Malaysia’ in celebration of the Malaysia’s multicultural ways.

Relive Perak’s Tin mining past at Lost World Of Tambun’s Tin Valley’s dulang washing activities and study real artifacts from the past. As you trail along the historical route, take a closer look at the Needle Of Tambun – that was miraculously preserved as a pinnacle of 8-meters high.

“Lost World Of Tambun’s ‘Warna-Warni Merdeka’ is a celebration of Malaysia’s rich history, and diversity. Our hope is to share the uniqueness of Malaysia with our guests, to ensure the preservation of our heritage, and for families and friends to have a fun-filled day at Lost World Of Tambun,” said Calvin Ho, Senior General Manager of Sunway Theme Parks.

For more information on how you could spend a colourful Merdeka, log on to Lost World Of Tambun’s website at http://sunwaylostworldoftambun.com/product/colourful-malaysia/ or its Facebook page at www.facebook.com/lostworldoftambun or by calling the park at +605 542 8888.
