Over 6,000 respondents cast their votes for their favourite brands across 24 categories during a nationwide survey; and KFC came up tops!
KFC bagged the Gold award for the 2nd year running in the “Restaurant & Fast Food” category at the 7th edition of the prestigious Putra Brand Awards. A total of 29 gold awards, 30 silver awards, and 41 bronze awards were presented at the Putra Brand Awards Gala night held at Majestic Hotel on 12 August 2016.
The Putra Brand Awards is an initiative by the Association of Accredited Advertising Agents Malaysia (4As) to recognize local and international brands closest to the hearts of Malaysians, measuring brands by consumer preference. It is a brand award endorsed by Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE); and it is the only award chosen by the people.
“We are truly honored to receive this premier award especially an award chosen by the people. Customers are at the heart of all our initiatives, and this recognition is indeed rewarding. We have our customers to thank for this,” said Ling Mee Jiuan, Senior Vice President, KFC Malaysia.
“This Gold award is testament to KFC Malaysia’s commitment to a continuous drive for excellence. We will continue to offer good value to our customers and serve up the best tasting Finger Lickin’ Good chicken,” she added.
Winning the Putra Brand Awards in any category is an acknowledgment of consumer endorsement and confidence.
