SWEET SWISS GETAWAY – A LUXURIOUS FAMILY EXPERIENCE AT MANDARIN ORIENTAL, GENEVA

 Mandarin Oriental, Geneva welcomes families to charming Geneva and enchanting Switzerland with a fantastic new Sweet Swiss Getaway offer. As well as enjoying a luxurious suite stay at the hotel, mini-gourmands and their parents will be treated to a private visit to Favarger chocolate atelier to experience some of the best cocoa treats in the world.

Upon arrival at the hotel, guests will be welcomed with family treats and Champagne in-suite for parents, where they can enjoy panoramic views over the city, before being chauffeured to the atelier of Geneva’s renowned chocolate maker Favarger. There, Favarger’s Master Chocolatier Philippe Colnel will guide guests through a bespoke, private two-hour workshop during which they will create their own chocolate delicacies and learn all the secrets behind some of the most celebrated sweets in Switzerland.

After an indulgent experience, for those feeling sporty and wanting to enjoy the best of what naturally beautiful Geneva has to offer, a bike tour in the region’s scenic countryside can be arranged with Bike Switzerland along with an array of other outdoor family-friendly activities. The Sweet Swiss Getaway package includes:
·         Luxurious accommodation in a Junior Suite, Corner Suite or Deluxe Suite
·         Adjoining bedroom (connecting if available) at half price for children 15 years and younger
·         Daily buffet breakfast for the entire family at La Riviera or in-room
·         Family and VIP welcome amenities

·         Private round-trip limousine transfers to from Favarger chocolate manufacturer

·         A private chocolate atelier with a Master Chocolatier at Favarger (available Mon-Fri, from 8am to 3:30pm)

·         Late check-out 3pm

Valid until 31 October 2016. Priced from CHF 1,600 per night.

The private chocolate atelier at Favarger is subject to a two weekdays prior notice and is not available from 16 July to 7 August 2016.

The family bike tour of the countryside can be booked at a supplemental charge.
