PIERRE BRINGS ‘SOIRÉES D’ÉTÉ’, THE FLAVOURS OF SUMMER EVENINGS, TO MANDARIN ORIENTAL, HONG KONG

Legendary chef Pierre Gagnaire will introduce a new ‘Soirées d’été’ summer dinner menu at two Michelin-starred Pierre beginning July 14. The new menu will evolve every few weeks as Chef Gagnaire combines the delicate flavours of summer with seasonal produce to balance Hong Kong’s warming temperatures.

Chef Gagnaire specially created a three-course dinner priced at HKD798 +10%, complemented with two Terroir Wine Selections for an additional HKD300. For guests wishing to explore three other distinct wines, guests may choose the Discovery Wine Selections for an additional HKD700 to the dinner pricing.

Soirées d’été Dinner Menu

Tomato water with oregano, parmesan cheese gnocchi; green bell pepper ice cream.    

Or

Marinated mackerel and grilled octopus, brown shrimps jelly, shizo paste and butter milk/ lime granita.

Or

Roasted Canadian lobster, felicia salad. (Supplement HKD68)

Grilled John Dory, baby artichokes, ratatouille.

Or

Leg of lamb, argouse juice. Braised fennel with bigorre ham.

Or

Grilled heart of rib-eye, diable sauce, Lebanese couscous, pommes pailles.  (Supplement HKD98)

Ice cream burrata, white balsamic vinegar, raspberry meringue, coulis honey/ olive oil/ basil.

Or

Marta, cream of coffee, chocolate ice cream, veil of milk, chocolate streusel, cocoa powder.

2010 Château Liversan, Haut Medoc, France

Discovery Wine Selections include (supplement HKD700):

2009   Château Jean Faure, Saint Emilion Grand Classe, Bordeaux, France  
NV      Macvin du Jura, Frederic Lornet, France
