Have an affair with Chanterelle this July at Villa Danieli, Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur Hotel

July 15, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

Have yourself a rare Italian dining experience this July at our award-winning Villa Danieli Restaurant as it introduces the exquisite ingredient of the culinary industry, chanterelle or better known as finferli in Italy.

Chanterelles are fairly bright yellowish orange wild mushrooms. They’re about 2 inches tall at the most, and their caps expand out of their stalks, rather like trumpet bells. Chanterelles are relatively high in vitamin C, very high in potassium and are among the richest sources of vitamin D.

Diners need not travel to Italy to experience and indulge in the benefits of chanterelles as the Villa Danieli team at Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur Hotel has created a special chanterelle menu for the month of July.  Headed by Italian Chef Gaetano di Stefano, the menu boasts of a delightful culinary experience. Anticipate flavourful and unique creations such as Coda di rospo (Pan fried Monk fish fillet with green peas puree, sauté chanterelle & dill lemon sauce), Petto D’anatra (Duck breast, with truffle barley risotto style, chanterelle, and berries jus) and Risotto ai finferli e albicocca (Chanterelle risotto with dry apricots and sage) to name a few.

Hence, hesitate no longer. Go ahead and treat yourself or celebrate with your loved ones. This exquisite chanterelle promotion is available for lunch and dinner for the month of July and is priced at RM40 nett per dish onwards. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to have a splendid dining experience with your family and friends.

Villa Danieli is a cozy trattoria-style Italian restaurant housed on level 5 of the Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur Hotel. Whiffs of freshly baked breads, wood-fired pizza and home-style pastas fill the air as one steps into the welcoming restaurant. Villa Danieli believes in serving true Italian cuisine that stimulates appetites and leaves one comforted with this authentic rendition of the best of Italy.

Villa Danieli opens for lunch from 12 noon to 2.30pm from Mondays to Saturdays & Public Holidays, Prosecco Brunch from 11 am to 2.30pm on every Sunday and serves dinner from Mondays to Sundays from 6.30pm to 10 pm.

Any further inquiries on events or on table reservations at Villa Danieli can be made by calling 03-2717 9922 or at [email protected]. For reservations, visit www.villadanielirestaurant.com
