JOURNEY OF FLAVOURS THIS RAMADHAN AT HOLIDAY INN KUALA LUMPUR GLENMARIE

June 5, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie marks the start of the holy month of Ramadhan with the offering of our Iftar Buffet Dinner at Kites Restaurant.

As Ramadhan is celebrated all around the world, every country tends to have its own spread of buka puasa dishes. With this in mind, our best culinary artists strive to introduce you to a journey of flavours through the various cuisines that are being served both home grown and from across oceans right here at Kites Restaurant.

Guests will be able to break fast with sumptuous selections from Asian delicacies to appetizing Middle Eastern classics served in more than 15 vibrant service stations throughout the restaurant, gazebo and pool side area.

With an array selection of Arabic servings, a dish from Yemen like the Mandi which is made from rice, lamb and a mixture of spices will definitely create a different take on how lamb is usually served. The main thing which differentiates Mandi is that the lamb is cooked in a tandoor rather than the conventional way of roasting.

Another key feature, would be the selections from our northern neighbour, Thailand. Introducing dishes such as Yam Talay, Lard Gai, Tod Man Pla and most importantly their iconic dish, the Seafood Tom Yum soup. Refreshing and sharp flavours will compliment and add a certain twist to the entire Ramadhan spread with a touch of spicy and sour flavours.

You will also get a chance to try our signature dish “Roasted Chicken Rice”, which will undeniably leave you craving for seconds.

Families and friends alike will have the chance to indulge on our lavish spread for just RM135nett per person. Early bird bookings made on or before 31st May 2016 will be entitled to a special price of just RM95nett per person.
