A SUPERB STAY @ SHANGRI-LA ISLAND HONG KONG

May 23, 2016 By StrawberrY Gal - Hong Kong, Hotel, Hotel Review, Overseas Leave a Comment

It was indeed a pleasure, having a room in the beautiful hotel in Hong Kong – Shangri-La Island Hong Kong Hotel. The lovely beautiful hotel located just towering above Pacific Place drips with old-world charm and offers spacious and luxurious accommodations with an Asian twist, along with fine dining and impeccable service. The Shangri-La is located on the outskirts of Central, just a short walk from Hong Kong Park. It is a popular choice among business travellers, as it is also within easy reach of numerous corporate buildings, but this round we are coming as a family travellers.

– They have room key and is pretty unique as most using access card –

Walking to the hotel, a great of smile had touched my heart. The service was just tip top with the beautiful and elegant view from the lobby itself till the room. With 565 spacious rooms and luxurious suites from the choice of Deluxe Peak View Room, Deluxe Harbour View Room, Horizon Club Peak View Room, Horizon Club Harbour View Room, The Executive Suites and also the Harbour View Suites. Exquisitely appointed with Asian-accented European furnishings, all rooms and suites command magnificent views of the city, the Peak or Victoria Harbour.

We had our room which is the Deluxe Harbour View Room which brings us with the stunning views of Victoria Harbour and beyond to the popular Tsim Sha Tsui district on the Kowloon peninsula. The magnificent view from the room is wordless but the beautiful sight of Hong Kong remains in my mind.

Our room is completed with the comfort bed with the gilded wooden furniture, crystal chandeliers, and high-tech features such as large flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi, as well as large work desks and coffeemakers.

The tv channels completed with all the exciting channels that one need to have, and our little girl is completely stuck at the TV with the nice shows. The bed are too comfort that I do not want to wake up even with a good hours of sleep.

The room complete with all the basic necessities that you need from toothbrush, showers and more.  The bath tub was a good one to enjoy where grace love them the most and is like a small pool to her.

They comes with the huge lockers, and all the basic needs you would like to have. Aside from the room facilities, they also have good choices of breakfast too. We are pampered and spoilt with their variety of choices of breakfast from Chinese, western and also Japanese too.

For those who are looking to enjoy more delicious food here, Shangri-La Island have a variety choices of Michelin standard restaurant such as the Lobster Bar & Grill and also their Michelin two-star Summer Palace.

Overall, Shangri-La Island brings us with a great wonderful stay where I am really happy and enjoy the whole stay. It is such a great hotel to stay and it is not just for business and it is also great for a family trip.
