POH KONG CELEBRATES 40 YEARS IN STYLE WITH FASHION SHOWCASE OF THE LATEST ANGGUN COLLECTION

Renowned home grown Malaysian jewellery retail chain store; Poh Kong celebrates its 40th anniversary in style with a cake cutting ceremony and jewellery fashion showcase of Poh Kong’s latest collections as well as Raya collection.

Held at the prestigious Shangri-La Hotel, event celebration saw more than a 100 guests from Poh Kong’s affiliates, partners, as well as members of the media. The afternoon was graced by the presence of Dato’ Eddie Choon, Executive Chairman and Group Managing Director of Poh Kong Holdings Berhad who gave a brief speech and officiated a cake cutting ceremony with the Group’s Directors Francis Cheong, Irene Choon, Gary Chang, Ermin Siow and Datin’ Jennifer Hon and Director Christine Choon to mark this auspicious milestone.

Poh Kong is an established brand which began with its first store in 1976, and now has become Malaysia’s largest jewellery retain chain store with more than a hundred stores nationwide with its own manufacturing facility in Shah Alam. In 1995, Poh Kong was awarded as the sole licensee of Disney jewellery in Malaysia. Poh Kong later went on to add international brands like Luca Carati, Schoeffel luxury pearl jewellery from Germany as well as popular Italian brand Moraglione 1922.

Poh Kong is also well-known for its exceptional craftsmanship and intricate designs. Home to some of the popular brands such as Anggun, Tranz, Happy Love and The Art of Auspicious jewellery, each of the brands are unique on its own. Tranz enriches the appeal of gold jewellery through its modern yet classy designs. Happy Love boasts a selection of elegant oriental gold jewellery. Anggun features Asian-inspired designs of floral motifs that replicate the beauty of nature’s flora. The Art of Auspicious Jewellery is a display of well-crafted masterpieces designed with Fengshui elements in mind, symbolizing blessings of good prosperity and longevity.

The special jewellery fashion showcase featured elegant and stylish collections from Diamond and Gems, Anggun and Tranz for 2016. These stunning pieces from Poh Kong’s various collections have intricate craftsmanship creating elegant yet sophisticated designs.

Guests were also in for a treat with a special lucky draw. Ten lucky winners walked away with RM 400  worth of cash voucher each from Poh Kong.
