This Mother’s Day weekend on May 7 & 8, 2016 pamper the special lady in your life to a good meal, bring her lots of presents, most importantly show how much you love, adore her.  Make Melting Pot your venue of choice… with its wonderful buffets, cosy atmosphere, you will not be disappointed. Check out the specialities served for the mother’s day weekend.

Buffet High Tea (May 7 & 8)
Mother’s day special high tea serves the perfect combination of local fare and international favourites. Trust mom and the entire family will find their favourite dishes here. Priced at RM90.00 nett per person, highly recommended dishes include beef wellington served with sautéed potato and black pepper sauce, Irish lamb stew, chicken murtabak, beef rendang and roti jala  amongst others.

Check out the specialities served at various live cooking stations. The Pasta Delight, Teppan Theatre, Japanese Corner, Wok Station and Noodle Station serving prawn mee, Penang laksa, curry mee. Various offerings, one will be spoilt for choice.  All moms will certainly not miss the sweet desserts. High tea is served from 12.30 pm – 4.00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

There is a special highlight for Sunday afternoon. Executive Sous Chef Azlan Juri and his team will be conducting a mystery cooking challenge with guests. Winners will win beautiful Tocco Toscano Italy handbags, floral bouquets courtesy of NGI Gold Rich Events, hampers from Jamu Mak Dara and magazines from Utusan Karya Sdn Bhd.

Buffet Dinner (May 7 & 8)
Another spectacular choice for this mother’s day will be our buffet dinner.  Diners can expect a more elaborate buffet spread.

Chefs have lined up a special menu on both nights. Some of tempting dishes include grilled chicken with basil sauce, gratinated seafood thermidor, roasted whole lamb, salmon baked in puff pastry with lemon butter sauce, chilli crab, beef honey and black pepper sauce, butter prawns, kambing masak kuzi, oxtail asam pedas, beef kadereta (braised beef with capsicum olives and tomato) and other dishes.   The menu list goes on… mouth-watering display for the entire family. Do not miss the a la minute dishes at Melting Pot’s live cooking stations.  Dinner is served at 7.00 pm – 10.30 pm, priced at RM120.00 nett per person.

Resident band, Bergema 5 strollers will be performing during high tea and dinner sessions.
