KAZOKU-AI MODERN TEPPANYAKI @ OLD KLANG ROAD: A HIDDEN TEPPAN HEAVEN

April 16, 2016 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review, Invited Review 1 Comment

Another hidden jewel for Japanese delights. Located along Old Klang Road which is hidden at the 3rd Mile Square, you can find a decent Japanese restaurant there. Built with concept orientated around family and togetherness, Kazoku-Ai host diners with warm services and cosy ambiance to welcome group of friends or solo dinners.

Complete with beautiful interior, the shop is located at the corner with many eateries around. Kazoku-Ai diligently offers their diners with great food and ambience.

Salmon Sashimi Salad (RM 29.70)
The fresh salmon carefully cut and it is served with the goma sauce with it Portion comes pretty generous where one can enjoy the sweetness of the salmon itself. The sweetness of the salmon are there especially the creamy sweet bites from the fresh salmon. The taste is well compliments with the goma sauce.

Tori Sichimi Yaki (RM 23.90)
I love the fusion combination which is the Japan and German combination. The chicken is well marinated and fried till crispiness on the skin itself while the meat remains tender and juicy. I am pretty impressed with the dish itself where every mouthful comes amazingly moist and juicy. Such an impressive delights.

Gindara Saikyu Yaki (RM 52.00)
Served next is the cod fish. The cod fish is being pan fried topped with the deep freid leek and sides with the salad. The cod fish comes amazingly good which brings you with the melts in the mouth sensation together with the flaky cod fish meat.

Imperial Fried Rice

Imperial Fried Rice (RM 47.70)
Don’t miss their Imperial Fried Rice. The hearty bowl of fried rice where it is covered with colors of tobiko which is the orange tobiko and the black tobiko. While, for the rice is complete with whole scallops, 2 tiger prawns in it and eggs. Nice one.

– The Huge Crab-

Fire Crab (RM 156.00)
Never go home without trying this. The fresh crab is being teppanyaki together with the brandy and sake together. Burning in flames; you will definitely indulge with it. The crab completes with loads of the crab roe in it. I don’t mind the cholesterol added for the night but this is perfectly good. The creamy roe with the hint of the brandy in. Enjoy them with a beer will makes the meal even perfect. For those who wanted to enjoy the fiercy fire crabs or lobsters. you HAVE to prebook 24 hours before hand to avoid disappointment.

Killer Brownies (RM 25.50)
Desserts of course! Don’t expects enjoying matcha ice cream, or even the usual Japanese desserts you used to have. But here, you will enjoy the amazingly good-licious. I love the moist and the chocolaty of the brownies
