DINOSAUR ADVENTURE HOLIDAY WITH MANDARIN ORIENTAL, MACAU

Mandarin Oriental, Macau takes families on a fun-filled holiday with the Dinosaur Explorer package, offering parents and children a great learning experience at the Macao Science Centre.

Families can explore the interactive Living Dinosaurs exhibition and enjoy a three-dimensional show at the ‘highest-resolution planetarium’ as awarded by the Guinness Book of World Records. The package includes tickets to the exhibition, comfortable and luxurious accommodation with breakfast, and access to the hotel’s Forbes five-star facilities, making for a perfect family getaway.

Valid from 23 March to 11 September 2016, the Dinosaur Explorer package starts from MOP 1,999 and includes:
– One night’s accommodation in a luxurious guestroom or suite
– Breakfast for two adults and one child at Vida Rica Restaurant
– Macao Science Centre entrance tickets for two adults and one child
– Macao Science Centre 3D show tickets for two adults and one child
– Complimentary extra bed for a child sharing the same room
– Special dinosaur themed turndown amenities

Extended stays are welcome at a special rate from MOP 1,399 per room night, and MOP 2,399 per room night for suite, including breakfast for two adults and one child at Vida Rica Restaurant, internet access and extra bed for the child sharing the same room only and without additional privileges.

Living Dinosaurs is the first special exhibition themed around dinosaurs presented by the Macao Science Center. The exciting exhibits include 14 mechanical replica dinosaurs, 72 small-scale dinosaur models, and interactive activities such as augmented reality colouring and card games and motion sensor virtual reality exhibit, “Dare to Venture Into the World of the Dinosaurs”. Apart from Living Dinosaurs, the 5,800-square-metre exhibition centre also comprises 12 permanent galleries covering topics in space science, fun science, children’s science, science express, robotics, sound, earth, genetics (DNA), eco conservation, sports health, sports challenge and food science, inspiring science learners of all ages.

Room rates are subject to 10% service charge and 5% government tourism tax. The package is based on two adults and one child; a surcharge will be applied for additional guests. Three-day advance reservations are required. Blackout dates apply. Request for extra bed is subject to availability upon reservation.
