It’s Coffee and Chocolate High Tea Buffet every Sunday at the Lobby Lounge, Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
The Coffee and Chocolate High Tea Buffet is from 2.30pm to 5.30pm, at RM95 nett per person. Coffee-flavoured desserts on the buffet include Tiramisu, Salted Coconut and Coffee Jelly, Latte Macchiato Panna Cotta and White Coffee Ivory Raspberry Tart, among others.
Among the chocolate ones are Bitter Chocolate Earl Grey Macaroons, Reinette Apple Crumble in Chocolate Sphere, Double Chocolate Scones and Banana Dulce De Leche Banoffee.
There is an Action Station where flambeed crepes are made a la minute, with a choice of cherry, banana or orange with white coffee espuma. Iced Coffee Pavlova and Chocolate Sorbet in Raspberry Cone will be passed around.
There is also a Chocolate Fountain with home-made marshmallows, fresh fruits and dried fruit brochettes. On the menu for savouries are the Black Coffee Braised Short Rib Pie, Golden Crab Cake with mango and cilantro relish, Petit Croque-Monsieur, Lamb Kebab with Toum Garlic Mayo.
Relish coffee brewed in different styles too, from a flavourful cold brew to Kaiser Melange, Café Bombon and Espresso Con Panna.
