ALL YOU CAN MEAT IN MOMO CAFÉ • MAN VS. STEAK

April 13, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

You will find grilled flank or skirt steak on Himalayan crystal salt slab at the live cooking station in MoMo Café of Courtyard by Marriott Hong Kong Sha Tin in the month of April, May and June. Our chefs let the beef cooked with a simple seasoning of sea salt where the grill burns high to get a great sear on the outside without overcooking the meat.

A spread of Angus Beef will be presented at the buffet tables to suit different tastes; for instance, for those who like it raw can choose between beef tartar steaks served with toast (sirloin), beef carpaccio with truffle oil (tenderloin), and Korean style marinated beef strip with pear and ginger. MoMo Café uses Angus beef and only the best cuts. Our daily roast is guaranteed to impress – roasted Angus rib eye roll served with red wine sauce or black pepper sauce. Moving on to the teppanyaki station, mouthwatering beef patty pizza, beef sausage and beef espetada are served with choices of homemade mustard (truffle mustard / chili mustard / honey herbs mustard / chocolate mustard).

Gather your colleagues, friends and families to share the finest cuts of Angus, as well as seasonal salads, irresistibly fresh vegetables, sliced import cold cut and cheese platter with condiments, and a wide selection of desserts. You will be surprised by how many cheesecake options there are at the dessert tables, sugar free quark cheesecake, Lemon cheesecake, Chocolate orange cheesecake, blueberry cheesecake, American cookies cheesecake, chocolate chestnut cake, green tea mango mousse cake, earl grey tea cake, ganache cake, chestnut square, green tea red bean mango cake, chocolate hazelnut Napoleon, black forest square, raspberry yoghurt mousse cake, just to name a few. Each night there will also be live fresh fruit mille feuille, crepes station with condiments, live souffle station and Häagen-Dazs ice cream.

Man Vs. Steak!

“Man Vs. Steak” will be hosted every Friday to Sunday during dinner buffet period (except May 8). There will be 3 contestants each night and they will be selected based on first come first served basis. Whoever finishes the 600g Giant Angus Rib Eye Steak the fastest wins, but within 15 minutes. All the winners of each night will be listed in a table. The top 5 winners on the table will then be invited to MoMo Café again on June 26 (Sunday) to join our final to challenge our Chef’s Special Spicy Angus Beef Burger. The rules are simple; the contestant cannot get up or leave the seat during the contest or accept anyone’s help. Whoever joins the contest must be a patronage of dinner buffet, and the top 5 winners must bring along at least 1 company to enjoy free dinner buffet on June 26.
