PUTIEN @ 1 UTAMA

March 19, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

One of our favourite restaurants, Putien which is serving Fujian dishes is something worth to visit. Just next to Lavender Bakery, the restaurant comes with the great food and great ambience.

ABOUT PUTIEN
The PUTIEN brand traces its roots to its namesake city of Putian – a beautiful coastal suburb in Fujian, with rich cultural history and storied tradition since its settlement over almost one and a half millennium ago. It is, after all, the birthplace of the goddess Mazu and the fabled Southern Shaolin Kungfu, among many other legendary tales.

Seated against majestic mountains and facing the vast ocean, Putian is blessed with bountiful harvests from land and sea. Its humble people offered only their best produce to honour God, ancestors and country. Every precious yam plucked from the earth; every prized yield of seaweed; every tug and pull to produce the world’s best vermicelli; these were heartfelt toils born of modesty and moving sentimentality.

Homemade Bean Curd (RM 17.00)

The silky smooth egg bean curd is freshly made daily. It is an ideal choice of a healthy protein rich meal where the bean curd is being fried together with mushroom, carrot and sugar snap peas

Putien Sweet and Sour Pork with Lychee (RM 22.50)

One of the signatures in Putien, the sweet and sour pork with Lychee comes awesomely good. The pork is being deep fried to light golden brown and  the meat remains tender and moist in the inside. Added with the lychee, it makes a perfect complements with is added burst of sweetness to the sauce.

Claypot Fish Soup (RM 52.00)

The live fish is being deep fried and then boiled and simmered for hours. It makes the soup comes simply sweet and it is served together with the fish meat, yam and other ingredients. The soup is certainly a heart-warming dish which complete with high protein and omega-3.

Spinach with Salted Egg & Century Egg in Supreme Stock (RM 20.50)

The soft and tender Chinese spinach is first stir fried on high heat of flavour, and it is hen being stewed in rich supreme –stock mix of century egg and salted egg to give it a burst of flavors. Nice.

Overall Putien is indeed a great place for some delicious Chinese Cuisine to visit. Food are always as good as it is !
