It is a long time since I am thinking to have asam laksa and recently I had the laksa at the Penang Road Famous Teowchew Chendol located at the lower ground of old wing. Opening more outlets, they have their shop there to serve not just their famous chendol but also loads of Penang food too.
About Penang Road Teowchew Chendol
It was established out of love for family when its founder, Tan Teik Fuang learned making and began selling Chendul at Penang Road back in 1936. Believing that his business will help make a living for his family, he established it with diligent hands that prepared Chendul passionately.
I had the Asam Laksa (RM 9.50) which is a good one too. Noodles comes smooth and brooth comes thick. But I found them much spicier than I expects. Overall it good and worth for a try.
