ISLAND SHANGRI-LA, HONG KONG CELEBRATES 25 YEARS OF HOSPITALITY FROM THE HEART

On 1 March 2016, Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong of Hong Kong-based hotel group Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts will celebrate its 25th anniversary.  To commemorate this momentous milestone, the hotel has prepared an amazing line up of activities and unique offers to thank everyone for their long-standing support.

Executive Chef Christophe Moret from the Michelin two-starred L’Abeille
Restaurant Petrus has invited Executive Chef Christophe Moret from the Michelin two-starred L’Abeille of Shangri-La Hotel, Paris to present diners his culinary magic from 2 to 6 March 2016.  Special lunch and dinner menus consisting Chef Moret’s signature dishes will be served.  Master sommelier Yohann Jousselin will hand-pick premium wines to complement the titillating dishes.


Guest Mixologist Cihan Anadologlu from Circle by Cihan Anadologlu
Internationally renowned cocktail maestro Cihan Anadologlu, the co-owner of the trendy hot spot Circle by Cihan Anadologlu in Munich, Germany, will take over Lobster Bar with mind-blowing concoctions from 8 to 12 March 2016.  Infusing subtle flavours into perfectly crafted drinks with rule-bending presentation was what landed him the honour of creating a cocktail for the 2014 Oscars and of becoming the champion of the “Barcardi Grey Goose Global Finals”.  Bar-goers will now have the chance to be awed by Cihan’s bartending showmanship while sipping on his one-of-a-kind creations.

Silver Jubilee Perrier-Jouët Afternoon Tea 



What is a celebration without a toast of Champagne?  Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong has teamed up once again with prestigious Champagne producer Perrier-Jouët to bring guests a luscious three-tier afternoon tea set throughout March and April to mark the hotel’s silver jubilee.  Area Chief Pastry Chef Alain Guillet has crafted delightful items infused with Champagne flavours and complementary to the bubbly.  Moreover, diners may also take home the classically designed Champagne coupes (while stocks last) as memorabilia. The tea set is available daily at Island Gourmet and Lobby Lounge, and weekends at Lobster Bar and Grill.

Love Dinner In Hong Kong Island by French Artist Christian Pendelio

Contemporary French artist Christian Pendelio returns to Restaurant Petrus since his first visit in 2007 for an exhibition entitled Cardinal Point of Love by State-of-the-Arts Gallery. The exhibition, to be held between 1 and 7 March 2016, will exclusively showcase Pendelio’s customised painting titled Love Dinner In Hong Kong Island for the hotel’s anniversary as well as a new collection of his artworks.
