
As part of its corporate social responsibility efforts and in celebration of Christmas this year, the staff and management team of Eastin Hotel Petaling Jaya visited the Good Samaritan Home located at Klang on Wednesday, 23rd December 2015 for a lending hand and valuable donations “Back to school” items such as school bags, stationeries, socks, groceries and food supplements were delivered to the home. The children were treated with sumptuous festive food specially prepared by the hotel’s culinary team and brought over to the home in conjunction with the upcoming festive Christmas celebration.

Eastin Hotel Petaling Jaya Director of Sales & Marketing, Ms. Ivana Foo mentioned that it is part of the hotel’s annual charity event to give back to the society especially during festive periods to bring in more cheers and provide support to the children.
“This initiative is close to our hearts as we take great pride in all of our CSR undertakings and it is one of Eastin Hotel Petaling Jaya’s ways of showing that we care and we have not forgotten the less fortunate individuals, especially with the Christmas and New Year festivities being just around the corner. We continue to take a community-driven approach to care for our society through financial contributions, in-kind donations , volunteer works and share the company’s success with the less fortunate ones”, she added.
The Good Samaritan Home consists of a total of 35 children comprising of pre-elementary, primary, secondary and college children. The gathering was made even more meaningful with the Christmas caroling performed by the children of the home.
