SUNWAY PROPERTY TO TRANSFORM ITS SUNWAY SOUTH QUAY LAKE INTO A CHRISTMAS WONDERLAND

December 6, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

Christmas joy will come early at Sunway South Quay, Bandar Sunway as Sunway Property is currently in the works to transform the development’s lakeside promenade into a “Christmas Wonderland by the Lake” for a year-end celebration on Saturday, December 5th from 3pm – 8pm.

The carnival, which is free for the public, is part of Sunway Property’s “Living Sunway, Living Community” campaign, and a year-end tribute to its communities for the support it has garnered throughout the year.

Upon entering the lakeside promenade through the 12 arches of Christmas, visitors will be greeted by a giant 20-foot inflatable Santa who will be “dancing” throughout the evening. In addition, there will be appearances by characters from famous movie animations.

As part of the carnival, there will be a Dinosaurs Alive show where visitors will be able to marvel at a mighty tyrannosaurus rex, stegosaurus and don’t miss the opportunity to feed the baby t-rex and apatosaurus.

The merriment of Christmas will be further brought to life with a towering 15-foot Christmas tree, delightful Santarinas, cheerful elves, and spirited Christmas carolers who will perform the season’s favourite tunes. Aspiring Hansels and Gretels will be delighted to explore a giant 12-feet gingerbread house decorated with colourful candies.

Carnival game enthusiasts will be able to participate in a host of exciting free-to-play games at the carnival’s 10 games booths and win festive goodies. Especially for the foodies, a collection of food trucks including crowd favourites such as Laughing monkey café, Julicious, Oh My Fruit Juice (OMFJ), La Famiglia, and Babarittos, will be cooking up a storm. Visitors will be presented free food vouchers and drinks coupons, which can be collected at the entrance to the venue. There will also be a lucky draw to win exclusive Sunway sponsored prizes for participants.

In the evening, enjoy a spectacular 3D water projection show and light display on the lake with stunning fireworks to end the night.

For more information on the event, please check in to Sunway Property’s Facebook and register on the Christmas Wonderland by the Lake event page.
