December 5, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

ONG LAI

Bringing you with pork-lcious delights, the restaurant comes with the classical look wth the colourful interior and yet a Chinese ambience in it too. Ong Lai serves a great impressive menu for breakfast, lunch, tea break, dinner or even supper. Now you can have all your 5 meals a day dining experience here in Ong Lai
ONG LAI

ONG LAI

Why is name “Ong Lai” ? It was chosen as it directly translates to “luck comes” and brings you with abundanc of joy. They have a variety of “Ong” dishes to go for here too. The restaurant comes with the cozy 2,500 sq. ft. space will accommodate 120 seats, including 40 at the alfresco area. Not just that, they have the eye catching art installation of 56 koi fishes incorporating auspicious shades of red and yellow among 7 other colours.
ONG LAI

Pork Satay @ RM10.88 for 6 skewers

Some of the “Ong-items” is of course the pork satay which comes with the tender and juicy bites of the porklicious sensation. The pork satay indeed a good one and it is served with the nutty satay sauce has pineapple in it too. It brings up the light crunchy bites with the sourish taste from the pineapple.

ONG LAI

Deep Fried Pork Intestine & Homemade Pork Meatballs Porridge @ RM12.88

The porridge fare a good score too. Not to be missed is the Deep Fried Pork Intestine & Homemade Pork Meatballs Porridge where both comes amazingly good. The porridge is smooth and veltvety and Ong Lai really brings you with the bouncy pork balls too.
ONG LAI

Pork Intestine Porridge @ RM11.88
Ong Lai’s another recommendation is of course the Pork Intestine Porridge which fare a good score too. The pork intestine is well cleaned and prepare.

ONG LAI

Roasted Crispy Pork Belly & Honey Roasted Pork Char Siew Noodles @ RM14.88
Don’t miss some lovely wantan mee where instead of the usual wanton; it is served with the crispy pork belly and also the roasted pork with it. The dish comes amazingly good especially the cracky pork belly.

ONG LAI

Steamed Minced Pork & Century + Salted Egg @ RM12.88
Filled with the awesome ingridients and it comes with the geneorous portion of it, rice lover would definately fall in love with it.

Prawn Mee with Pork Ribs @ RM14.88
The bowl of the prawn mee served with pork ribs is indeed a good one. But to me, the prawn mee comes in sweeter version instead of spicy though

ONG LAI
Pork Dumplings with Spicy Sauce @ RM9.88
The pork dumpling comes awesome too where the dumpling is drenched with the spicy sauce making me simply awesome and give you with the lips burning sensation. Nice.

ONG LAI

3 Combinations – Roast Duck, Char Siew and Siew Yoke @ RM33.88
The lovely platter comes with 3 combination which is the roast duck, char siew and siew yok is simply interesting. The taste is awesomely good where I love the roast duck is tender and juicy. As for the char siew, it comes simply juicy.

"ONG

Asides from some of the signatures here, Ong Lai is also served a good range of desserts, dim sums as well as drinks too. For those who are looking for some porklicious delights, Ong Lai is definitely a good place to enjoy with the great ambience and affordable price.
