FESTIVE CELEBRATIONS AT LEMON GARDEN CAFE, SHANGRI-LA HOTEL, KUALA LUMPUR

Celebrate Christmas and New Year at Lemon Garden Cafe, Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

On Christmas Eve there is a lavish buffet lunch with traditional Roast Turkey with apple stuffing and cranberry chutney, and Christmas desserts, at RM120 nett for adults and RM60 nett for children.

The Christmas Eve Buffet Dinner, at RM265 nett for adults and RM132.50 nett for children, is a luscious buffet spread with the Roast Turkey with apple stuffing, cranberry chutney, giblet sauce, Brussel sprouts and roast potatoes.

Diners will also enjoy Tomahawk Beef with Yorkshire Pudding, Roasted Lamb Rack with polenta and ratatouille, Snow Crab Soup with chives and croutons, Long Tail Snapper with macadamia nut crust, among other dishes. The condiments for the carvery include Brussels sprouts, red cabbage and giblet sauce.

Desserts on the buffet include Traditional Christmas Stollen, Pannettone, Vanilla Orange Cream Puffs, Gingerbread and many more.

On Christmas Day, the Buffet Lunch at RM195 nett for adults and RM97.50 nett for children features the Roast Turkey with apple stuffing, cranberry chutney and giblet sauce and Roast Prime Beef Rib. Pan-seared Seabass with citrus cream sauce and Sous Vide Sakura Chicken with lemon ricotta and truffle jus are other main courses.

Queen scallops, Alaskan King Crab Legs, US oysters and freshwater yabbies’ make up the seafood on ice, while other cold delights include Pate En Croute, Beef Tongue with Salsa Verde and Siamese Marinated Salmon.

Enjoy desserts like Christmas stollen and cookies, mince pies, Mango Coconut Buche Noel, petit lemon meringue pies, Christmas cupcake and Santa’s Chocolates, among others.

The Christmas Buffet Dinner, at RM235 nett for adults and RM117.50 for children, is a delicious draw with Butternut Pumpkin Soup with Amaretti for starters, with a good choice of salads and chilled seafood.

Enjoy main courses like Roast Duck Breast with pink peppercorns and honey glaze daikon, Lamb Tagine with apricots and raisins, Roast Turkey with apple stuffing, BBQ Whole Lamb Ribs and Roast Tomahawk with black pepper sauce.

Christmas waffles, Chocolate Truffle Cake, Pear and Rhubarb Crumble and Hazelnut Dacquoise are among the sweet, heavenly treats to end dinner.



New Year at Lemon Garden Cafe

Celebrate the New Year’s Eve Lunch at Lemon Garden Cafe, at RM115 nett for adults and RM57.50 nett for children.

Enjoy Sweet Corn and Shrimp Chowder, Wild Mushroom Risotto, Poached Salmon Fillet and lemon herb butter, Grilled Fillet Mignon and Pan Seared Smoked Duck Breast with braised red cabbage and orange reduction.

The New Year’s Eve Buffet Dinner is RM275 nett for adults and RM137.50 nett for children.

On the buffet are gourmet dishes like Baked Lobster Seafood Gratin, King Salmon with Navel Orange Mustard Seed Sauce, Green and White Asparagus in black truffle butter and Beef Cheek Bourguignon.

Amareana Cherry Cake, Peach Crostata, Apple Jalousie, Banana Banoffee, Pina Colada Panna Cotta with mint and Mango Coconut Trifle are among the luscious desserts.

On New Year’s Day, delight in a buffet lunch with family and friends, at RM175 nett for adults and RM87.50 nett for children. Savour Butternut Squash Lasagna, parmesan and ricotta, Smoked Duck with plum sauce, Baked Seafood Thermidor style, Chimchuri Lamb Cutlets and Seabass Allacqua in tomato, olive and caper sauce.

Go for the Roast Prime Beef Rib Eye and Roast Turkey with apple stuffing at the carvery. Save room for some gorgeous desserts like Mocha Crème Brulee, Pear Crumble, and Tiramisu.
