A DELICIOUS MORNING AT KFC WITH SCHAWAL!

December 8, 2015 By StrawberrY Gal - Event, Kuala Lumpur Leave a Comment

It was a fun Sunday morning filled with entertainment and games as KFC celebrated the winners of ‘KFC Sarapan Bersama Schawal contest’ at KFC One Utama shopping mall featuring Malaysia’s favorite celebrity couple Scha Alyahya and Awal Ashaari.
Organized by KFC Malaysia, the contest which ran for eleven days from 2 November until 12 November 2015 received an overwhelming amount of entries in such a short span. Ten winners were chosen based on the beautiful pictures and captions they posted on Facebook, depicting one out of five of their favourite KFC Breakfasts, namely the Classic Rice set, Egg Riser, Zinger Riser, Twister Lite and the most popular, Zinger porridge.
The entries were judged based on creativity and originality: 50% on the creativity of the slogan, 25% for the images, and 25% on the sharing of the posts. The winners were then given the opportunity to spend a wonderful morning enjoying delicious KFC breakfasts accompanied by Malaysia’s top celebrity couple, Scha and Awal.
“There’s more than just fried chicken at KFC. The breakfast sets are not just delicious and affordable, they’re also easy to eat. There are many quick grab and go options for those who love to have a quick and easy breakfast,” said Scha Alyahya who is a fan of KFC’s breakfast menu.
“We are thrilled with the response we received from this competition. KFC’s customers are spontaneously creative and they posted such great photos, some of which even went to the top of Broga Hill to include its scenic views in the picture! We’re thankful for their support and we would definitely hold more contest such as these for all KFC fans,” said Angelina Villanueva, Senior General Manager, KFC Marketing.
The top three won cash prizes of RM1,500.00, RM1,300.00, and RM1,000.00 respectively. While seven others walked home with consolation prize of RM200.00 each. A lot of fun activities took place at the event including lucky draws and a number of games that allowed the contestants to win great prizes and interact with the celebrity couple.
