THIRD HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS IN THAILAND

October 27, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) opened Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sathorn in the bustling city of Bangkok, Thailand. Owned by TCC Hotels Group, the 184-room hotel marks the brand’s third property in the country and the second in the capital.

Just 30 minutes from Suvarnabhumi Airport and with a central location in the Sathorn business district, Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sathorn is in the heart of the city and close to all the major international corporate offices. Its prime location is also within walking distance to the vibrant Silom area, which is famous for its night shopping, dining and entertainment options.

Owned by leading Thai conglomerate TCC Hotels Group, it is the first Holiday Inn Express hotel to be owned by the group, who also owns InterContinental, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn hotels under IHG’s brand portfolio.

Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sathorn has direct access to commuter links with Chong Nonsi BTS skytrain just a short two minutes’ walk away, which will take travellers directly to destinations such as Asiatique, the Riverfront Night Market, Siam Paragon, one of Asia’s largest shopping complexes, EmQuartier, one of the latest luxury shopping complex, or the amazing Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC). From the hotel, guests can take a leisurely walk to the majestic Chao Phraya River with its exciting markets and temples including The Emerald Buddha Temple and museum in a matter of minutes.

Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sathorn offers guests a hassle-free stay with:
• Free and fast Wi-Fi available throughout the hotel to stay connected to loved ones and business associates

Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sathorn is the eighth Holiday Inn Express to open in Southeast Asia, less than two years after the brand made its debut in the region. This hotel joins Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Siam and Holiday Inn Express Phuket Patong Beach Central as the third property in Thailand, followed by the Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sukhumvit 11, which opened in December 2014. As of now, Holiday Inn Express in South East Asia is rapidly growing its footprint across key cities like Singapore, Bangkok, Phuket, Jakarta, Bali, and many more across the region.

Intercontinental Hotels Group currently has 18 hotels across Thailand, offering a wealth of choice for travelers to the country, including three InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, one Crowne Plaza hotel, nine Holiday Inn Hotels and Resorts, four Holiday Inn Express hotels and one Hotel Indigo. The scale and diversity of the Intercontinental Hotels Group family of brands means that its hotels can meet guests’ needs whatever the occasion – from an award-winning InterContinental resort to a city-centre Holiday Inn Express hotel.
