A SPECIAL KIND OF DELIVERY FOR KIDS OF RUMAH BAKTI

October 26, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

KFC Malaysia recently made a special KFC delivery to Rumah Bakti Dato’ Harun in Ampang, bringing joy and smiles to 40 underprivileged children. The delivery was made more special by the inclusion of Malaysia’s renowned celebrity couple Scha Alyahya and Awal Ashaari, personally delivering the food as well as hosting the party.

The cheerful event named “KFC Delivery & Schawal @ Rumah Bakti” was part of KFC Malaysia’s corporate social responsibility efforts as a large corporate organization to give back to the community.

KFC’s team arrived at Rumah Bakti early in the afternoon to put up balloons and decorations to create a party atmosphere for the children to enjoy. As soon as the party started, KFC Delivery riders, Scha and Awal sneaked in bringing delicious KFC fried chicken and other KFC treats, much to the delight of the children. The day was filled with fun, games, and entertainment by Awang the clown as well as Scha and Awal, who made them laugh and giggle throughout the evening with their energetic personality and funny antics.

The children were also treated to a magic show, singing and dancing before sharing a generous spread of KFC Original Recipe fried chicken, wedges, whipped potato, and KFC Premium Desserts with their guardians and the rest of the KFC team members.

“It was an amazing experience to be able to spend time with these special children. You know they have gone through a lot in life and seeing them happy and smiling really made my day. I’m thankful to KFC Malaysia for including us both in this event,” said Scha, Actress, TV Host, and the recently appointed KFC & Pizza Hut World Hunger Relief Malaysia spokesperson.
“Having a party such as this is awesome because I get to interact and play games with the children and talk to them about life in general. I also gave a few of them tips on how to get into show business!”, added Awal jokingly
