I had heard a lot about Marutama Ramen where they had their outlet in Avenue K This round, I passed Marutama’s Toripatan soup served with homemade Hakata-styled ramen noodle. Compared to many ramen outlet, Marutama Ramen remains low-key and quiet restaurant especially in Times Square outlet.
In Marutama, they offers ramen with anything from pork belly and chashu to spring onions and seaweed plus more in all kinds of configurations. Since I am not in my huge appetite, I had my Ramen Gyoza Set where we can choose the ramen of our choice either spicy or non spicy with the 3 home made Dumplings and Green Tea. I had their Mini Size which is at RM 21.00 nett.
The brooth comes slightly thick with the distinct savoury chicken flavour. Served with their handmade noodles which is nothing much to shout about. Overall, the taste comes slightly salty to my preference.
As for the gyoza, it is being steamed and topped with the chilly oil on top.
