Lobster Bar and Grill at Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong becomes Hong Kong’s highest ranked bar at 18th and the second-highest new entry at the highly anticipated World’s 50 Best Bar Awards 2015 by Drinks International.

With bars from over 27 cities in 19 countries, the 50 best bars are chosen by an academy with more than 400 members; the strongest, most diverse collection of industry experts ever assembled to express their view on the best bars in the world.  The list represents the  ultimate guide to the top bars and drinking destinations around the globe, with restaurant bars, speakeasies, hotel bars and tiki-themed venues all contributing to the diverse and eclectic list.

“2015 continues to be a fantastic year for Lobster Bar.  We couldn’t be happier and thrilled to be part of this list.  This recognition shows a true testament of hard work the team has put into Lobster Bar, making it the best in Hong Kong and in the world,” said Mr Franz Donhauser, general manager of Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong.

Lobster Bar offers a convivial atmosphere to unwind and savour a series of innovative cocktails crafted by Bar Manager Agung Prabowo and his team of cocktailians.  The bar was also recently shortlisted as one of the “Best International Hotel Bars” at Tales of the Cocktail’s 9th Annual Spirited Awards 2015, and was named by Condé Nast Traveler among the top 30 in “The Greatest Bars in the World” this year.

Lobster Bar and Grill opens daily from noon to 1 a.m. from Sundays to Thursdays and from noon to 2 a.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and the eve of public holidays.  For more information, please telephone Lobster Bar and Grill on (852) 2820 8560 or e-mail [email protected]
