As classic as Judy, sassy as Marilyn and lively as Liza, InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong welcomes “Broadway Babe” Kristen Evelyn Rossi, to Tiffany’s New York Bar.
Born in New York she is the product of a theatrical mother and a childhood filled with music. Her first solo performance was at the age of seven, singing “Castle on a Cloud” from Les Misérables.
She holds a BA in Theater from Point Park University, Pittsburgh and as a passionate singer, actress and entrepreneur she has created “Broadway Babe” with the mission of bringing Broadway style and jazz to Asia.
A one woman show filled with numbers that captivate the audience from Broadway tunes to Swingin’ jazz, blues and pop hits – perfect for jazz lovers and fans of Broadway style entertainment.
Rossi who counts Judy Garland, Madonna, Joel Grey and Frank Sinatra among her musical heroes will perform alongside Tiffany’s New York Bar’s house band in what promises to be a lively show. “I am an actress by nature,”says Rossi “I cannot just sing a song, I have to perform it.”
