Located at the same place as the Kiyomizu Temple, we headed to the small hut for some food before going back to the hotel. The cozy restaurant with the limited sitting place brings us with a decent warm food.
Warabimochi (¥400) where the mocha is made from the powdered bracken served with soybean flour and sugar. Delicious!
Tokoroten (¥400) is sinfully good with the agar agar (seaweed) strips served cold in the tangy soy sauce (and mustard) or syrup.
I love the Katsune Udon (¥600) which is served hot with the white flour noodles topped with the pieces of fried bean curd and minced scallions. The warm delicious udon comes amazingly good with the slurpy delights.
As for the Kitsune – Soba (¥600); the buckwheat noodles is being topped with the poeces of fried bean curd and the minced scallion. Nice one to go for
