MasterChef Asia Meet-and-Greet Session

Date : 22 August 2015, Saturday
Time : 12noon
Venue : Mid Valley Megamall | Centre Court, Ground Floor

From 12 noon on 22 August, Saturday, fans of MasterChef will be treated to a meet-and-greet session with the judges of the first-ever MasterChef Asia, Susur Lee, Bruno Ménard and Audra Morrice; as well as Malaysian contestants Jasbir Kaur, Marcus Low and Sophia Zulkifli. But that’s not all – what would MasterChef Asia be without the Mystery Box Challenge? Witness the nail-biting cook-off live as Jasbir, Marcus and Sophia battle it out in front of a live audience, and see how the judges evaluate their performance. It’s anyone’s guess what they’ll come up with!

The inaugural season of MasterChef Asia features three diverse Malaysians who bring out the best of Malaysian cuisine: Jasbir, the most senior participant in the season who whips up Punjabi specialities with ease; Marcus, a banker with an interest in molecular cuisine and unique food pairings; and Sophia, a mother with a passion for food and cooking.

Equally dynamic are the judges themselves, from award-winning restaurateur and fusion specialist, Susur Lee to 3-Michelin-starred chef and culinary consultant Chef Bruno Ménard, and much-loved Audra Morrice, finalist in MasterChef Australia, caterer and cookbook author.

Don’t miss this chance of a Lifetime – charge your cameras and phones; grab your cookbooks and pens for autographs; and be there to savor the experience! For more information about this tour, log on to http://bit.ly/meetMCA.

MasterChef Asia Season 1 is presented by the Singapore Tourism Board and Knorr, in association with Panasonic, Changi Airport Group, Carlton Hotel Singapore and Air Asia. The series premieres on 3 September, Thursdays at 9pm on Lifetime (Astro Ch 709). For more information, please visit the official website at msn.com/masterchefasia.

MasterChef is represented internationally by Endemol Shine Group. The show was originally revived as MasterChef Goes Large in 2005 by Shine TV in the UK and is based on a format originally created by Franc Roddam.
