I AM 80’s @ KELANA JAYA

August 30, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

Back to the childhood memoire and “I am 80s” brings them out. The little cafe which is cozy in the inside with the basement cafe feel comes simply fresh and yet unique. Walking in the restauant with those classical and yet colorful wooden furniture makes the overall place simply nice and great for #Selfie too.

There are many playful and animal motifs printed into the pillowcase so that customers can enjoy the pictures in the cafe. Loads of oldies, simple things which keep my mind thinking “Those Were The Days”
I AM 80S

Started with the Mushroom Soup (RM 9.00), the mushroom soup which is homemade with the fresh mushroom cooked for hours and topped with the rich truffle oil on top. Awesomely good.
I AM 80S
Since the owner / chef is from Sarawak, he had come out with his own version of the Sarawak Laksa (RM 12.50) . The Sarawak Laksa is fragrantly prepared with the yellow noodles soaked with the creamy coconut milk base soup and topped with loads of shreded eggs, prawns and taugeh. For those who prefer to get some kick of spiciness, you can add some lemon with it as well.

For those who comes in group, try their 8-s Signature (RM 75.00) which fits for 4- pax where it comes with the generous huge portion of roast ½ chicken, onion rings, 12” chicken sausage, fish & chips, sweet corn, hashbrown, garden salad, pesto bread. Sides with the homemade bbq sauce and tartar sauce. Awesomely done!
I AM 80S
Dancing in the Pan (RM 20.00) is something worth to order here. The new recipe from he chef where the desserts with the sizzling vanilla ice cream combined with the bread toast and butter pudding. Simply good and double thumbs up!

I AM 80S
The Marshmallow Lava (RM 15.00) is something unique. The chocolate based below toped with the hot marshmellow ontop. Scope them up with the biscuits and it brings you with the sweet and addictive taste.

I AM 80S
Banana Mango with Basil Seeds (RM 14.00)
Raspberry Mango with Basil Seeds (RM 15.00)
Mix Berries & Dragon Fruits (RM 16.00)

For those who are looking for a cozy place for meals, here is the place and they have more than that. They are also a pet friendly restaurant and please call them before you bring your pet so they make a booking specially for you. It’s doggie friendly day will be available too once every two weeks which is on every Sunday.

More than that, they provide catering and also event / movie shooting/ wedding shooting too.
