SUPERB RESTAURANTS AND BARS ENHANCE MANDARIN ORIENTAL, MACAU

Taking its place on the Macau Peninsula waterfront, Mandarin Oriental, Macau was opened in mid 2010 bringing a range of stylish accommodation and sophisticated dining options to the city.
For centuries, Macau has brought together the finest ingredients and culinary techniques from the East and the West to create an exceptional gastronomic heritage. Mandarin Oriental, Macau is proud to bring its renowned tradition of elegant cuisine and contemporary dining options to this dynamic city for the enjoyment of guests and local patrons alike.

Vida Rica Restaurant and Bar
Innovative, refined dining is emblematic of all Mandarin Oriental properties, and Mandarin Oriental, Macau continues this proud tradition with its signature Vida Rica Restaurant and Bar. Located on the second floor of the hotel with panoramic views of the South China Sea and Nam Van Lake, the 108-seat Vida Rica Restaurant highlights classic French cuisine with a modern twist created by Dominique Bugnand, Director of Culinary Operations and Food & Beverage. Various dim sums, Chinese specialties and Portuguese delicacies are also served to delight. Using only the freshest and finest ingredients, Vida Rica’s culinary team ensures guests an exceptional dining experience.
Guests can choose to sit in the main dining area or in one of the four semi-private rooms, ideal for intimate gatherings of up to 12 people. For guests requiring a more exclusive venue, the chef’s table provides a fully private option.

The dining journey at Vida Rica is enhanced by distinctive design and floor-to-ceiling glass walls, providing a lively yet sophisticated ambience perfect for a relaxing meal with friends, special celebrations or a romantic rendezvous.
The dinner menu features a range of food and wine pairing options, and for wine lovers there are extensive wine-by-glass choices, as well as a superb listing of premium international wines and champagnes.

Another stunning feature of Vida Rica is the exciting Bar, which features sleek, contemporary elements of marble and chrome, together with impressive double-height ceilings and windows, offering fantastic views of Macau’s vibrant evening skyline.

The Bar can comfortably accommodate up to 60 guests, with the main central seating area providing generous lounge-style seating and window views from which to enjoy the evening lights of Macau.
The Bar has three interactive bar counters including a cocktail bar, champagne and tapas bar, and coffee bar. The cocktail bar offers a full list of drinks along with several Mandarin Oriental signature cocktails inspired by the local Macau environment. Over at the champagne and tapas bar, guests can delight in Vida Rica’s extensive wine-by-glass selection and premium wines and champagnes, whilst sampling enticing appetisers and tapas.

Lobby Lounge
After a fascinating day of exploring the sights of Macau, guests of Mandarin Oriental, Macau can relax in the inviting Lobby Lounge. Open daily from 10:30 am to 11 pm, and with seating for 42 people, the Lobby Lounge provides an ideal place for guests, locals and shoppers from the adjacent One Central to gather and enjoy traditional afternoon tea, chosen from an extensive premium loose leaf tea menu, or an array of Asian and Western snack items.

The Mandarin Oriental Cake Shop
Conveniently located next to the Lobby Lounge, the Mandarin Oriental Cake Shop serves up a delectable range of homemade chocolates and pastries presented in elegant, original packaging designs that are ideal for gifts and special occasions all year round. Guests can choose from an extensive catalogue that includes sandwiches, freshly baked bread and cakes, and enjoy customising gift hampers for friends, colleagues and family. The Mandarin Oriental Cake Shop is open from 10:30 am to 7 pm daily.
