NORTHERN MALAYSIAN CUISINE BERBUKA PUASA @ RASA UTARA

Despite an increasingly crowded market for Malaysian delicacies, Rasa Utara looks to stand out with its distinctive focus on Northern fare, such as its signature Laksa Kedah, Ayam Goreng Cili Lagenda and Ikan Menari, among others. With its contemporary setting and comfortable ambience, complemented with authentic, heart-warming food, it will prove to be a draw for those seeking a genuine experience of not only Northern cuisine, but for all food lovers alike.

 

During Ramadhan, the restaurant is offering a special buffet spread at its outlet at Berjaya Times Square and IOI City Mall, Putrajaya, featuring Northern specialties such as Ayam Kari Kapitan, Daging Masak Hitam and Gulai Ikan Kuala Kedah, together with some additional, Ramadhan-only items such as herb and spice-infused Roasted Lamb, and everyone’s favourite raya delicacy, Lemang. Recognizing that customers appreciate genuine home-cooked style of food for the breaking of fast, the restaurant has gone to great lengths to ensure the food offered is as authentic as possible. As part of this effort, the management team spent a considerable time in Kedah and Penang, researching into cooking methods, ingredients and dishes that are unique to the North. The result of these efforts is a buffet spread which will bring back fond memories of home, perfect for family and friends to come together and celebrate the auspicious month of Ramadhan.

Tickets for the buffet for adults are priced at RM68 nett, with the promotion available from 18 June to 16 July 2015. Children under the age of 12 can dine for RM28 nett, while those under 6 years old eat for free (limit to 2 children per adult ticket). Reservations, as well as corporate bookings, can be made by calling Berjaya Times Square, 03 2110 0884 or IOI City Mall, 03 8328 0733. Alternatively, customers may choose to simply walk into the outlets or even purchase cash vouchers, which are perfect as gifts for their loved ones and to spread the festive cheer.

Concurrently with the above promotion, the restaurant will also be running a special Ramadhan promotion at its outlet in Mid Valley Megamall, where customers will be able to enjoy unlimited servings of desserts and drinks, such as pulut panggang, seri muka and ketayap and 20 % discount for early bird booking.
