Another café in Penang along Penang Road catch my attention during my visit to Penang recently. Gold Choice Lifestyle Café where many of us will know what Gold Choice business is. Being famed for their coffee, and packet drinks they are now venturing to café as well. Established in 1994, Gold Choice is now one of the leading instant beverage product manufacturers in Malaysia.
Well, we had their set lunch for this round where many items are not available during our visit and the service was indeed disappointing. It is pretty slow in delivering our foods even they have low volume in their crowds .
The western set lunch is served with soup of the day, a main and a drink which is priced at RM 13.90. We had the Grilled Chicken Fillet where they have the choice to top with the black pepper sauce or oriental sauce. The fillet is pretty standard in size but the gravy is a good one. Fragrant with the blend of tomato sauce in it.
Another is the Nasi Lemak Special (RM 11.50) that comes with a soup and drink. With a great portion of condiments with it and the nasi lemak comes good with the tender chicken and a kick of spiciness in it.
