BAY BRIDGE BY HOTEL G RE-LAUNCHES AFTER EXTENSIVE RENOVATIONS

July 31, 2015 By StrawberrY Gal - Hotel, Hotel News Leave a Comment

Hotel G is proud to re-launch the iconic Bay Bridge in Tsuen Wan following an extensive renovation and a new direction, unveiling it as a trendy ‘urban escape’ styled for the new generation of millennial travellers.

The Bay Bridge’s newly renovated 436 rooms and one-bedroom suites will officially launch in August 2015, targeting business travellers and tourists looking for an affordable yet design-centric hotel option only 20 minutes away from Tsim Sha Tsui and with convenient access to the airport and Hong Kong’s public transport networks.

Rooms – including some with outdoor terraces and some with kitchenettes – are spacious and streaming with natural light in a contemporary, clean, bright style with all modern amenities and cushioned window seating with spectacular views over the South China Sea.

Recreational facilities include an outdoor swimming pool with saunas and Jacuzzis, along with an expansive fitness centre – plus convenient hill-hiking minutes away in Shing Mun Country Park and Tai Mo Shan Country Park.

Peter Pfister, General Manager of the Bay Bridge, states: “There is nothing else like it in the area – a stylish and affordably-priced haven of tranquility and relaxation overlooking the South China Sea, yet within 30 minutes of just about everywhere in Hong Kong.”

“This is a new value-for-money concept for business and leisure travelers, seeking short or long stays – yet with all the modern style, functionality and convenience the millennial travel market now expects.”

The hotel’s upmarket sister brand and namesake Hotels G also brings a fashionable edge. Hotels G made its name as a trendy, award-winning boutique hotel in Beijing where it was endorsed with numerous global awards including, Smart Travel Asia’s ‘Best in Travel’ 2012, 10th ‘Trendiest Hotel Worldwide’ by Travellers Choice 2011, 4th ‘Best Lifestyle Hotel Worldwide’ by Boutique & Lifestyle Hospitality Awards 2010, and ‘Hot List’ by Conde Nast Traveller 2009.

The Hotels G portfolio continues at Pullman Bangkok Hotel G, Pullman Pattaya Hotel G, Hotel G San Francisco and Residence G Hong Kong – with scheduled opening in 2016 in Shenzhen Suzhou and Beijing.

With offices in Hong Kong, Beijing, Bangkok and Yangon, Hotels G dynamic management portfolio also extends to iconic properties including The Roosevelt Hotel Macau – and The Strand, one of Asia’s most legendary hotels, in Yangon, and its Strand Cruise in Myanmar due to open January 2016.
