Iketeru, the reputable Japanese restaurant at Hilton Kuala Lumpur is offering delicious delicacies with the most common but essential component of Japanese summers – Unagi, a summertime favourite. The Unagi promotion runs from now till 31st July 2015.
This stamina-boosting treat is served from sea to plate at Iketeru as it is delivered twice weekly from the Miyazaki prefecture in Kyushu Island, Japan, renowned for their premium Unagi.
Unagi meat tends to be more tender, juicy and with more marbling (fat) during the summer season and is a signature dish in Japanese cuisine. Iketeru’s acclaimed Japanese Chef Ricky Kamiishi has crafted the menu based on authentic eel cooking method preference in Japan – be it Unaijyu-style, grilled and basted with a sweet sauce or Nagoya-style known as hitsumabushi where the skin is crispy and appealingly aromatic.
Some of the exquisite delicacies available during this special promotion period include Unagi Hitsumabushi, the premium Unagi Unajyu and Unagi Sasazushi, among other menu items.
