COFFEE SMITH @ KARPAL SINGH DRIVE

June 25, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

coffee smith
One of the famous coffee places in Penang which is the Coffee Smith had been evidently seen to have long queues and crowded since opening. Located at the new commercial building Maritime Piazza at Karpal Singh Drive/ Jelutong Promenade, Coffee Smith is a brand of francise from Taiwan and it is recently brought over to Malaysia and till now they just have one outlet here in Malaysia.

The restaurant with the wooden furniture’s, contemporary design with exposed pipes and lovely furniture is simply lovely and unique. The restaurant brings you with the nice view across Penang Bridge and the breeze air. It is indeed enjoyable with the great view of the restaurant itself.

Well, we are there for the Fruit Ice Cream French Toast (RM 14.00) which is served with the fluffy French toast served with the fruits and a scope of ice cream. The portion comes awesomely huge with loads of French toast, and together with it is the fruits like green and red apple, mandarin oranges as well as watermelon with it. The taste is indeed good and delicious but portion wise is good to share.

As for the Potted Latte (RM 13.00) ; it is served like a pot of plant with the thick chocolate on top and cream. The potted latte was a good one with the blend of fragrant coffee taste in it. Nice!

Honey Apple Tea (RM 9.00) for those who are not a coffee lover. The cooling drink to enjoy during the hot day is such a perfect match.

Coffee Smith
No. 29C-01-11, Maritime Piazza, Lebuh Sungai Pinang 5,
11600, Georgetown, Penang.
