Work your taste buds for an exciting gourmet experience at Carousel as the award-winning restaurant brings Turkish cuisine back to the buffet counters from 18 June to 16 July. Following the success of last year’s introduction of Turkish cuisine, Carousel will be welcoming Chef Ahmet Akpinar back to the restaurant to showcase his culinary skills in traditional Turkish cuisine and desserts.

Coming from a family of culinary background, Chef Ahmet Akpinar began his own journey 24 years ago as an apprentice in his father’s Turkish restaurant, before moving to Singapore and honing his culinary skills at several Turkish cuisine establishments.

During this Turkish cuisine promotion, Chef Ahmet will be bringing tantalising dishes from across Turkey to be featured at Carousel. His signature dishes include specialties from the Black Sea Region, Mediterranean as well as Ottoman, such as Karalahana Dolması, cabbage rolls with minced beef stuffing, Patlıcan Kebab, a unique meat kebab marinated in spices and served with eggplants, hot pide bread and yoghurt sauce, and Musakka, a traditional meat stew with roasted eggplant puree. Other delicacies include Içli Köfte, a couscous dumpling stuffed with minced lamb from the Middle Eastern region and Levrek Buğulama, a fragrant sea bass stew from the Aegean Sea region.

This promotion is available during the dinner meal period from 6.30pm to 9.30pm at $83++ from 18 June to 16 July. Guests can contact Carousel at 6589 7799 or [email protected] for enquiries and visit www.carouselbuffet.com.sg for online reservations.
