HARBOUR RESTAURANT PRESENTS “FEAST OF CRAB” DINNER BUFFET

May 20, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

Under hot and humid weather, there is nothing better than enjoying a sumptuous feast in an air-conditioned sophisticated restaurant. Starting from April, Harbour Restaurant of The Harbourview presents an array of delectable crab specialties to pamper your taste buds!

“Feast of Crab” Dinner Buffet incorporates 7 kinds of fresh and succulent crabs from all around the world to bring patrons a taste of freshness. A highly recommended appetizer is Crabmeat and Watermelon Salad with Chrysanthemum Jam. The sweetness of watermelon is perfectly matched with the oceanic sweetness of crabmeat salad. Highlight of the dish is the homemade jam which is freshly made with Japanese chrysanthemum petals, presenting a refreshing taste with a hint of floral fragrance. For main course, under the spotlight is the innovative Baked Korean Rice Pudding with Crab Roe and Cheese. Unlike traditional Korean rice pudding, the dish is not only baked with a cream cheese sauce, but also the high-quality crab roe. Through baking, the rice pudding has fully absorbed the tangy sauce, while its chewy texture is still preserved. Make sure you sample our cooked-to-order Green Crab Congee and classical Japanese snack Deep-fried Soft Shell Crab with Yuzu Kusho too. The former is prepared with Vietnamese Green Crab and Japanese pearl rice, offering you the simplest way to sample the freshness of the crab. While the latter is deep-fried to crunchy and golden, tangy food lovers should not miss it. In addition to the above, the buffet also serves Crabmeat and Cream Filo Tart and Stir-fried Crab with Chilli and Garlic. Fried Crabs with Ginger and Spring Onion will also be available on rotation basis to satisfy the cravings of crab lovers!

Apart from the starters and main courses, to match with the theme of “Crabs”, Hokkaido Hairy Crabs, Russian King Crab Legs and Japanese Zuwaigani Crabs are specially added to the sumptuous Assorted Seafood Platter in addition to the regular offerings including New Zealand Oysters, French Edible Crabs, Canadian Snow Crab Legs and Razor Clams. Besides the luscious crab specialties, other hot picks are Sashimi and Sushi Counter and Grill Counter. The former serves 7 selections of sashimi sliced on-the-spot, including Scallop, Sweet Shrimp, Surf Clam, Herring and Salmon, while the latter offers various aromatic and sizzling choices prepared a-la-minute by our chefs, such as Grilled Taiwanese Sausage, Grilled Minute Steak and Grilled Lamb Chop, both counters are promising the freshest dishes for you to relish. Other food counters like Cheese Counter and Salad Bar are also available to ensure you an enjoyable dining experience.

Exquisite desserts always mark a perfect end to a lavish buffet. The most irresistible dessert must be MOVENPICK Ice cream from Switzerland, 8 flavours are now ready for ice cream lovers. Furthermore, French Lemon Pie, Mango Yogurt Terrine Cake, Blueberry Crumble Cheesecake, Passion Fruit Crème Brûlée and Portuguese Egg Tart are our newly presented desserts, sweets aficionados are definitely hard to resist any of them. Other sweet offerings such as Chocolate Parfait, Waffle, Classical Cotton Candy, Chocolate Fountain and more are also delicately prepared to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Crab lovers should not miss “Feast of Crab” Dinner Buffet featuring succulent crabs at Harbour Restaurant. The buffet is available from 1 April to 30 June from 6:30pm to 9:30pm
