There is nothing better than enjoying the coconut based steamboat which brings you with the comfort dining experience. Located at The Roof at Bandar Utama, you will be pampered till the fullest with the premium steamboat selection. Located at The Roof, Yezi is set against a backdrop of the city’s view.

“YEZI is the first of its kind concept steamboat in the country that uses coconut-based broth and this concept was inspired from a famous Chinese steamboat restaurant in Shenzhen,” said Dax Lee, CEO of The Group F&B and director of The Roof in Bandar Utama.

Emphasis on the broths of coconut base is compliment by the delicious dishes fresh from the farm to the table, the unique offering brings us with five unique variants for patrons to treat, organic chicken broth imperial canton broth, aromatic Taiwanese beef spice broth, fragrant ‘Shao Xing’ wine seafood broth and wild forest truffle mushroom broth. These are all priced between RM38 to RM78. Each broth is truly unique and luxurious.

To go with the steamboat, Yezi has its own signature steamboat sauce. Their special broth is made up of the Special Homemade Dipping Suace, chicli, sand ginger as well as the calamansi lime. Comes with a guide on how to enjoy the sauce.

Szechuan Fried Century Eggs (RM15) is one of the item which we had that night. For those who are a fans of century egg, you would love them. The fried century egg is whippped up with loads of dried chilies, scallions and crushed peanuts.

Next served is one of the signature which is the Coconut Bacon (RM 15.00) , The bacon is being fried together with a slice of coconut in the middle. The aromatic taste of the coconut can be felt with the complete juiciness in it. Amazingly good.

Our steamboat ingredients are neatly placed at our table with one of the signature bowl of : Imperial Canton Broth (RM 88). The fragrant, healthy goodness with the aromatic sweetness cabbage and bacon in it comes amazingly good. The first sip of the broth was gorgeously sweet with the sweet aromatic taste of the cabbage that wrapped the organic chicken in it. Together with it, comes with the scallops in the soup making the overall taste even sweet. Enjoy the soup, where you can taste the nuances of the coconut sweetness.

Enjoy some ingridients which includes the pork neck meat (RM 16.00). The pork neck meat comes awesomely good with the moist texture of meat in it leaving us with the delicious bites.

More ingridients includes the Mushroom Chicken Balls (RM 12), Pickeled Pork Balls (RM 12.00), Beef Balls (RM 18), Black Truffle Balls (RM 24) and also the Black Pepper Cheese Ball. Added to it includes the the Coconut Dumpling (RM 12.00). The dumpling comes juicy with the combination of sweet and salty sensation in it. Nicely done. Aside from the Coconut Dumplings, they also have the Imperial Seafood Dumpling (RM28), Shaoxing Pork Dumpling (RM12) and Chives Dumpling (RM12).

Fish & Tobiko Paste Noodle (RM18) was served in a syringe making it to turn into noodles when it is put into the boiling noodles. Delicious!

We also had Prawn Paste (RM20) served in bamboo. Sweet and moist texture after cooking in the brooth. Nicely done.

For beef lover,don’t miss Yezi Special Beef Slices (RM25). It fared a good quality of meat which only required very minima swishing in the brooth. It is such a pampering delight to enjoy.

Filled up your meals with their classic organic greens and vegetables as well as the organic mushrooms too.

Ends your meal with their Homemade Fragrant Coconut Ice Cream (RM 10.00) which is gorgeously aromatic with loads of coconut flavors in it. Deliciously done.
