THIS MOTHER’S DAY, TAKE A VERY SPECIAL PERSON TO A PLACE SHE WON’T FORGET.

To all the giving mothers who have always been pampering their loved ones with comfort meal, switch it around this Mother’s Day and take her for a hearty meal instead. InterContinental Kuala Lumpur signature restaurants are hosting a feast with exceptional cuisine, fine wines, and attentive service, to ensure the celebration is something to remember.

This special occasion, no better place to gather and gratify everyone with delicious dim sum medleys other than Tao Chinese Cuisine. In the hands of Chef Lo Tian Sion, dim sum master specialising in authentic Hong Kong dim sum, the contemporary Chinese restaurant will be featuring an “All-You-Can-Eat Dim Sum” with live action stalls featuring various toothsome dim sum such as steamed bean curd skin roll with minced chicken and shrimps, steamed boneless chicken wing with yam in black bean sauce, deep-fried minced black pepper smoked duck with mashed taro, deep-fried seafood dumpling with wasabi mayo and the restaurant’s signature stir-fried radish cake with spicy sundried scallop sauce. In addition to the handmade dim sum, there will also be a sumptuous host of Chinese cold salads, heart-warming soups, fresh vegetables, Chinese hot dishes and dessert selection. From braised shredded sea treasure hot and sour soup to stir-fried geoduck with jellyfish and “Teow Chew” satay sauce and double-boiled soya bean with hasma and snow fungus, the dishes are prepared a la minute using premium quality ingredients and adapted to the likes of discerning diner’s palate. Tao Chinese Cuisine Mother’s Day All-You-Can-Eat Dim Sum is available on the weekend of 9 and 10 May, 2015 starting from 9:00am for breakfast, lunch and dinner priced at RM126nett per adult.

Alternatively, there will be another exciting venue for a leisure Sunday brunch at Serena Brasserie for the lovely mothers. A family fun occasion, the Sunday brunch is the perfect place especially with the dedicated children zone with specialised children-friendly menu and activities. While the children are occupied, the adults will be treated to a treasure trove of freshly flown-in seafood on ice as well as BBQ a la minute at the al fresco. The brunch will highlight great international flavours of succulent Sunday roasts, gourmet burgers, local satay, roasted duck and chocolate fountain for a sweet ending. There will be an exciting mother/daughter contest to win, lucky draw prizes and memories to last a lifetime. Serena Brasserie Mother’s Day Brunch is available on 10 May 2015 from noon to 3:00pm priced at RM158nett per adult with free flowing soft drinks and chilled juices, RM268.50nett per adult with free flowing of house wines, standard pour liquors and draft beer, and RM79nett per child.
