NEROVIVO @ BUKIT CEYLON

March 13, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

Nerovivo has become a prime KL landmark for an exceptional Italian casual dining experience. With cool ambiance, modern, stylish, whether you’re dining al fresco along the side of the restaurant or inside surrounded by striking lilac walls combined with consistently high quality food and impeccable service.

Located in Bukit Ceylon, this multi-award winning Italian restaurant welcomes everyone to celebrate and indulge in the best in Italian cuisine in Kuala Lumpur. The resturant also had won serveral awards in MIGF as well.

Started with the appetizers – The Lock Fyne, Scottish Salmon Tartare, Half Dry Cherry Tomatoes, Lemon, Olive Oil, Taggiasche Olives, Capers and Crutons (RM 38.00) which is graciously served on the plate. The unique appetizers with fresh ingridients are indeed something worth to try off in NeroVivo.

Next is the Buffalo Mozzrella and tomatoes “caprese” in olive oil, oregano, and basil with anchovies, rocket olives, and balsamic (RM 36.00). The fresh Buffalo Mozzarella brings up the overall taste of the dish itself.

We also had the “Fnto Della Casa” (RM 32/RM 56) where the deep fried squid, prawns, white baby fish , is served with a dip and lemon sliced. It’s good for sharing.

Voted as the Best Pizza in the Time Out KL Food Awards 2009, Nerovivo delivered quite an impressive pizza and it is one of the signatures too in Nerovivo, We had the Italiana (RM 36.00) where the thin crust pizza which is well-baked without any burnt presentation is topped with emmenthal, mozzarella, gorgonzala, fontina with the cream topping and spinach sauce. The pizza comes simple but it is double thumbs up with the moist and yet crunchy edges. Wonderfully done!
nerovivo
The Homemade Scialeteli al Pesto is where the homemade pasta is being tossed with the basil pesto sauce (RM 27.00). l love how the pesto is made which is creamy and authentic. It is indeed a great one to order in NeroVivo.

nerovivo
Ends your meals with the sinfully addictive desserts- Tiramisu (RM 27.00). The classic desserts served with the stromh espresso coffee, Italian marsala liquor and mascarpone cream with it. Sinfully good and every mouthful you can taste the infused flavours of the marsala liquor and mascarpone in it.

Last but not least, the Dark Chocolate Foundant with Ice Cream (RM 28) served beautifully on the table. Simple but every mouthful is divinely delicious.

Overall, we are falling in love with the food and ambience of Nero Vivo which brings us with good food and great ambience. Not forgetting the service is excellent which I would give them double thumbs up.
