SPRING REUNION WITH TAI THONG GROUP

TAI THONG

This year, Tai Thong Restaurant brings you with the lovely springtime gathering for this Chinese New Year. As we know Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, is a time of fresh beginnings, a time to celebrate family reunion with traditional delights, auspicious dishes and sumptuous feasts.
TAI THONG
This year, Tai Thong brings you with their Golden Treasure Poon Choy. Their Golden Treasure Poon Choy which uses a fragrant Sour and Spicy sauce as its base. Definitely a unique sensation for the taste buds, this Poon Choy is a must for those with an adventurous palate. Filled with exotic spices, fiery flavours and a treasure trove of assorted seafood, including fish maw, sea cucumber, squid, conpoy, tiger prawn and dried oyster, Golden Treasure Poon Choy is priced at RM298++ for 5 pax and RM498++ for 10 pax. Advance orders are advisable and takeaway is also available.
TAI THONG
As for the Double Happiness Yee Sang, Tai Thong brings you with their Japanese-inspired, crispy and crunchy yee sang, sure to please palates of all ages. Symbolic of good luck, prosperity, health and all things auspicious, Tai Thong’s Double Happiness Yee Sang has double the texture, and double the flavour, with added golden chicken floss and crispy Enoki mushrooms.

If you are looking for a different types of yee sang and the healthier version, try their Golden Fortune Yee Sang healthy fruit-flavoured yee sang now features sliced fresh star fruit, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds and black sesame, all to add more flavour and texture than ever before! Why not indulge without the guilt this Spring Reunion?
Available in half or full portions, both the Tai Thong Double Happiness Yee Sang & Golden Fortune Yee Sang are priced at RM68++ (half portion) and RM98++ (full portion) respectively.

TAI THONG
Something special is served in Tai Thong. Featuring their Mini Eight Treasures Rice, with the 2000 years in making of history, “ba bao fan” has long been served during Chinese New Year celebrations. Today, savour it at Tai Thong and celebrate with this classic sticky and sweet dessert, made from glutinous rice and eight types of cooked dried fruit that, according to Chinese medicine, are meant to provide therapeutic effect. A feast to the eyes as well as your taste buds, our Mini Eight Treasures Rice comprises of glutinous rice, pumpkin, lotus seeds, raisins, dried apricots, as well as red and green cherries, all drizzled with fragrant Osmanthus syrup. Mini Eight Treasures Rice is priced at RM9.80++ per serving.

TAI THONG
We ended with some sweet delicacies which is their famous Sesame Ball with “Nian Gao” and Red Bean Paste. For a different take on classic ‘Nian Gao’, try our sesame-coated glutinous rice dumplings filled with two sweet and sticky flavours – velvety soft red bean paste and homemade classic ‘Nian Gao’. Each portion of 6 is priced at RM13.80++.

Tai Thong’s Chinese New Year Set Menus are priced between RM498++ to RM1488++ for 6 pax and RM798++ to RM2398++ for 10 pax. For any 10 pax set menu chosen, Tai Thong is also giving out complimentary bottles of 640ml Asahi Beer. All Tai Thong Chinese New Year promotions end 5th March 2015.
