OLD TRISHAW DESA AMAN PURI

After their success in their first outlet in Plaza Faber, Taman Danau Desa KL, the legendary charcoal BBQ Yong Tau fu is now opening their second branch in Desa Aman Puri, bringing more delicious choices of food to the neighbourhood there.

Open back on 28 December 2014, here you goes with their new shop which brings us with the theme of love story of the owner’s parents on how their open their business here.

They have also showcasted the ; framed pictures of the family portraits of Old Tricycle’s owners, the founder of Jalan Pudu famous yong tau foo.

With also their work art at the front of the restaurant as well, you will find another potrait of the owner with the trishaw selling the Yong Tau Foo.

The outlet here brings us with a more spacious interior as well and bigger than the debut store in Taman Danau Desa.It is divided into two sections, where, for outdoor, you can have the fun of barbecue-ing your own yong tau foo over flame of charcoal. Indoor dining area is air-conditioned, but no BBQ facilities.

Food menu still remains the same as it is for the both outlet but they will be adding more new items soon to cater for bbq lovers. Do try some of their famous choices of the bbq items which includes Mushroom with Fish Paste (RM1.80), Back Bacon with Fish Paste (RM2.90), Stearky Bacon with Capsicum Fish Paste (RM2.50) and more.

In here, they also served Yong Tau Fu set where they put together varieties of flavour in one platter. Couple Set (RM30/15 pieces) is suitable for 2-3pax; Family Set (RM48/25 pieces) for diners of 4-5 pax; Hungry Family Set (RM65/35 pieces) for 6 pax and Meat Lovers Set (RM33/12 pieces) for 2-3pax.

Accompanied your Yong Tau Foo with the velvety smooth texture Chee Cheong Fun. Served with four choices of flavours- Curry Pig Skin with Dry Shrimp Cheong Fun, Sweet Sauce with Dry Shrimps Chee Cheong Fun, curry Sauce with Sambal Chee Cheong Fun and Fry Onion Soya Sauce with Chee Cheong Fun.Choose which you love to accompany with your Yong Tau Foo.

Why not end your meals,with some cold desserts-Coral Jerry (RM4.90). The coral jelly resembles taste of grass jelly with longan, wolfberries in it and soaked with a bed of soya milk with it.
