A new and modern museum has been launched in Pulau Langkawi, with a new concept that is sure to provide a thrilling experience for all of its visitors.

Believe Langkawi utilizes a 5D art concept, which is a the first such museum in Malaysia. It aims to trick and tease the five senses – Smell, Taste, Hearing, Sight and Touch – giving our guests a new way of experiencing and learning things. We take a step further than other interactive museums that focuses their sensory experiences to what you can see and feel; in Believe Langkawi, we question your palate and your perception of taste, we enthral you with natural scents that takes you to a different place, we surround you with the acoustics of nature and music that gives an additional sense of reality to the art pieces. Seeing is definitely not believing in our museum, as we take our guests on an unexpected journey that goes beyond the ordinary.

The museum, located in Langkawi Fair Shopping Mall, houses a variety of artworks consisting of paintings, printed art, 3D crafts and sculptures of different themes that will keep you on your toes. One of our art masterpiecespieces is a realistic recreation of a rock cave formation, which can be found at the entrance. To get to the next exhibit, visitors need to navigate through the rock cave through its twists and turns, thus allowing our guests to experience the outdoors, indoors.
We also pay homage to Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad, former Prime Minister of Malaysia and the man responsible for the development of the island. The life-size depiction of him gives our guests the chance to ‘meet’ him up close and personal. Other artworks include sceneries of Langkawi, as well as the wildlife that can be found in the archipelago of islands. We insist that you interact with each of them – touch them, pose with them, and snap photos to share with your family and friends via social media platforms. Be silly, funny, serious, or scared… There’s no limit to your imagination.
